Installation Tips

Wheninstallingthelampunit,pleasechecktomakesurethatthebentmercuryreservoirisnotpoinngupwards.Themaximumallowanceforanangledinstal -

laonis45degrees.Donotexposethelamptotemperaturesgreaterthan110 C(230F)andtheelectromagnets(transformers)togreaterthan120 C(248F).

Lampstobeinstalledintemperatureslessthan-20C(-4F)requiresspecialcustomizaontotheunitfromthemanufacturer,andshouldbespeciedbefore

ordering/purchasingtheunit.Handlethelampswithcare-theglassisfragile.Useglovesifnecessary.

Wheninstallingtheelectronicballast,pleaseensurethattheplacementoftheballastwillnotexposetheballasttotemperaturesgreaterthan65C(150F)or

itwilldegradetheservicelifespanoftheunit.Theballastisdesignedtoaccommodate10%ofvoltageirregularity.

Onlyqualiedpersonnelinyourcountry(ceredelectrician)mayinstallorrepairthisproduct.
