Whereas by Government Notification No. 22/12/90-RD d'ated 9.5.90 1?ublished on page
. .89 of Series II, No.7 of the Official Ga'zette, dated17.5.90 and in two newspapers (1) Gomantak dated 9. 5 ~ 1990 and ( 2 ) Gomantak Times dat ed 12.5.90 it was ,notified under section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) {hereinafter referred to ·as "the said Act ") that t.he land, specified in the Schedule appended to the 'said Notification was likely to be needed for the public purpose viz •. Land Acquisition for.implmentation of Rousing activities of the Goa Housing Board at Alto Betim.
And Whereas, the Government of Goa (hereinafter referred to as "the Goverrunent") after considering the report made under sub~ection (2) " of section SA of the said Act .is satisfied that the land specified in the Schedule hereto is needed ,for the r:>ublic purpose specified above (hereinafter referred to~"tpe said land") .
