***Fall 2020 Travel Restrictions Update***

� Unfortunately the University has cancelled all international travel for Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 including the annual GLCM international trip scheduled for Jan 2021

� Alternatives are currently being evaluated by GLCM/CEE/GCOE:

1. Converting the Jan 2021 trip to domestic travel (based on general interest, pandemic travel restrictions in Illinois and destination, available companies/sites, etc.)

2. Increasing the duration of the NEXT international trip (Jan 2022)

3. Conducting virtual site visits of either international or domestic

4. Cancelling of winter trip

� Requirements� Undergraduate Senior in CEE (Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0)

� Construction Management Primary or Secondary

� Desire to work in Construction Management

� Interview w/ Director & Meet the GLCM students

� Letter of recommendation from industry professional AND CEE professor� For Fall 2020 applicants TWO LORs from CEE professors are acceptable

� Preferred Qualifications� Recommended GPA: 3.3+

� Cumulative, CEE, CM, Last 60 credits: 3.0+

� Construction Management Internship Experience

� Schedule an interview w/ EJ Ignacio (Not available Sept 7th 2020)

� GLCM admission notification by Friday, September 11th 2020

� Student confirmation before Friday, September 18th 2020

� UIUC Graduate School application materials (reference letters, personal statement, fees, etc.) due Nov 1st

� CEE Career Fair Sept 23rd and 24th
