Appointments:

All users will see:• you will see the general Appointment

book for all customers (Excluding customer names Only time slots will be in view).

• A section that says you must log in or register

Only logged in users will see:• A section for booking appointments

• When Appointments is clicked a list of barbers/stylists will pop up. You will be able to view the schedule/Portfolio/and choose a barber. Then you will choose the service

• Next you will choose a time (based on the service).

• Hit Submit and you will be sent an email reminder

• If you do not want to choose a barber you can select (First Available)

Locations Page


Location Page:Google API (JavaScript)Identical in function to supercuts’Locations stored in MySQL tableLongitudes/Latitudes in lookup table


ZIP Code Entry Box:User enters zip code and distance from [location table] is displayed as a list of address and as a map. If no zip code is entered then the default zip code is 30297 and the default radius is 25 miles.

User Profile Page(s)


Note: The “Golf” site is to be used as a LAYOUT reference only. Use the same color palette and logo as the mockup.jpg


Profile Pictures:Patron is able to upload one picture to their profile.


General Profile Information:•Name•Phone #•Address•Email Address


Newsfeed:•Latest news•Latest barber shop “tweets” from Twitter


Future Scheduled Appointments:•New patrons are only able to schedule one week In the future

•Regular patrons (10 or more visits) will be able to schedule up to 2 weeks in advance

User Profile Page(s)[What a barber/stylist sees]

Note: Unless otherwise noted, the barber/stylist view of the client’s profile is identical to the client’s view.


Profile Information Restriction:Note: Barber/stylists (with the exception of the Location’s Master Barber) are only able to see a client’s: Name, Phone Number, and email address.


Links to Picture Pages:View: Links to that patron’s photo gallery (pictures uploaded by barber of patron).


Barber/Stylist Notes:•Style preferences•Hair treatments•Safety warnings•Personality reminders•Birthdays & special dates•Etc.


Barber/Stylist Profile Page(s)


Barber/Stylist's profile Page:Layout and style is virtually identical to the client’s profile page.

Notable Exceptions:•Appointment calendar is larger•Personal info is truncated•Barber’s message board dominates bottom.


Profile Pictures:Barber is able to upload one main picture of themselves to their profile (or not). When “View” is click, Barber is taken to a page were the pictures they have uploaded are sorted into folders named after the customers they contain. (This is nearly identical to the way FaceBook handles “Picture Albums”)

Action Buttons:Add/delete/edit Appointments


Future Appointments:•All assigned appointments are listed•Barber is able to alter/edit Appointments


Barber’s Update Windows:•Barber’s personal updates posted by themselves.•Viewable by all other barbers•Other barbers can post to it.
