As President of the Home Builders Association of Louisville it is my pleasure to present Ho-mearama Shakes Run and Poplar Woods; your first chance to tour several Green Build Ken-tucky certified and Energy Star rated homes. I am extremely excited about this year’s event as we host Homearama in two distinctively amazing communities in Shakes Run and Poplar Woods. Both of these communities offer unique price points and home styles and stand out as conser-vation minded communities. I am also excited about this year’s sponsors. Our presenting spon-sors are LG&E and E-ON Company and Insight

Communications. Our official sponsors are PC Building Materials and Republic Bank.

This year’s event began with the end of last year’s. A full twelve months of effort have gone into making this event one that you won’t soon forget. I would like to offer my personal gratitude and thanks to the builders, designers, subcontractors, and Canfield Development Company for a job well done. They have all worked together to pull off an amazing show.

On the behalf of the Home Builders Association of Louisville, I wel-come you to Homearama Shakes Run and Poplar Woods.

Sincerely,

Richard MilesPresidentHome Builders Association of Louisville

Welcome to Homearama 2009 at Shakes Run and Poplar Woods. These are two very impressive neighborhoods. Each has employed conservation practices into their design with significant perma-nent open space for use by residents. Please take note of this while you are there. The stars of this years show are the homes and you are about to experience the first Green Build Kentucky homes built in Louisville and Oldham County.

This years event showcases two distinct price ranges of the homes by neighborhood and should provide all with the current trends in green home

building and all things Homearama. Please enjoy Homearama 2009 and we look forward to seeing you in 2010!

Sincerely,

Charles J. KavanaughExecutive Vice PresidentHome Builders Association of Louisville

Two locations. Amazing homes. Different price ranges. This year's Homearama is simply like no other. Presented by LG&E, an E-ON company and Insight, the 42nd annual event is produced by the Home Builders Association of Louis-ville (HBAL) and takes place in Canfield Development's Shakes Run and Poplar Woods subdivisions. Once again the traditional summer event gives homeown-ers in various price ranges ideas for planning their own dream home in the future or incorporating those ideas into their existing homes. Designed to impress and inspire, Homearama 2009 offers something for everyone's tastes.

Green is "in" at this year's eventWith energy efficiency a prominent theme, green is certainly "in" this year, both inside and out as nature plays a key role in each of the incredible homes on dis-play. Local builders have answered the call to build more energy-efficient homes here in Greater Louisville. This year's Homearama demonstrates how they are doing that. Many homes in Homearama were built with low flow plumbing fixtures, CFL bulbs, special insulation, housewrap, low-E windows and more efficient HVAC systems that utilize dual fuel technologies and other energy-saving features.

All but one of the homes meets Energy Star standards and each demonstrates how local builders are creating energy-efficient homes built for comfort and cost-savings without skimping on innovative, breath-taking designs. Many of the homes are Green Build Kentucky certified homes.

What is Energy Star?Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. Products that meet Energy Star requirements save homeowners money and help protect the environment through energy ef-ficient products and practices. By choosing an Energy Star rated home, owners can save a third or more on their energy bills.

What is Green Build Kentucky?Green Build Kentucky is a new state wide program based on the National Green Building standards and Energy Star. Homes certified by a third party verifier as Green Build Kentucky homes have incorporated environmental considerations and resource efficiency into every step of the building and development process. Green Build Kentucky is comprised of seven energy-saving guiding principles, including:

• lot preparation and design• resource efficiency• energy efficiency through the Energy Star program• water efficiency and conservation• occupancy, comfort and indoor air quality• operation, maintenance and education• global impact

An investment in a Green Build Kentucky home offers many benefits for con-sumers, including lower operating costs, reduced maintenance needs, a healthy and comfortable living space and the satisfaction of knowing your home is re-ducing the impact on natural resources.

Builders and vendors will be on hand to explain the products and techniques that makes their homes more affordable to heat and cool and how energy con-servation and environmentally-conscious building played a role in the creating a home that's clean, safe and built to last.

The value of a Homearama home ... If you're making plans to build in the future, Homearama presents an ideal op-portunity to get ideas or find a builder. However, you just might discover that what you're looking for is already here. "A Homearama home is built with all the extras because everyone involved knows what a great opportunity it is to demonstrate their products to the thousands of people who attend during those two weeks," explained HBAL President Richard Miles of Dogwood Homes.

"As a buyer, that means you end up with a lot of added value and a home that is built with the latest technologies and designs. You can be assured that a Ho-mearama home is a sound investment," Miles added.

Many of the homes feature "smart" technologies and innovative uses of mod-ern conveniences. In addition, cable, broad band and phone services for all the Homearama homes are provided by Insight.

Homearama.com has it all for you!Be sure to visit Homearama.com for all the event details, pictures of the homes (inside and out) and full descriptions.

Why Should You Use a Registered Builder? All of the Homearama builders are members of the Home Builders Association of Louisville (HBAL). What does that mean? It means that each of the builders has met a strict list of requirements that ensure buyers are dealing with a profes-sional who is dedicated to providing them with quality home building services. It also means that if you choose a Registered Builder to build your home, you're investing in a house built by a professional you can trust and one who is experi-enced with products and services that are reliable and proven.

What are the requirements of a Registered Builder?A Registered Builder is not simply a title that can be purchased and displayed on company vehicles and advertising. To be a Registered Builder, an applicant must:

• Have experience in the home or commercial construction profession for a specified period of time• Have demonstrated financial and on-site responsibilities• Be a full-time professional who derives his or her principal income from construction and/or related real estate activities• Submit the names of previous customers as references• Have Registered Builder sponsors with personal knowledge of the applicant’s construction activity and business integrity• Have acceptable credit history

Before becoming a Registered Builder, the builder must appear before the HBAL Registered Builders Committee for a personal interview. He or she must agree to take part in continuing education and to abide by the Code of Ethics of HBAL.

What advantages do Registered Builders have? • Access to continuing education – With HBAL's 80-hour curriculum taught by industry professionals, builders are better equipped with the tools they need to build better homes for their customers.

• Resources – As a member of HBAL, Registered Builders are automatically members of the Home Builders Association of Kentucky and the National As-sociation of Home Builders. These three organizations combine to provide Reg-istered Builders with an unmatched network of information on the latest in home construction techniques, products, codes, environmental issues, etc.

• Conciliation through HBAL – Registered Builders have access to an established conciliation process. Should you have a complaint that you cannot resolve with your builder, HBAL will provide two of its Registered Builder Committee mem-bers to act as conciliators.

Every Homearama home has been built by a Builder Member of the Home Builders Association of Louisville.

Poplar Woods is regarded as a "conservation community." Located in Oldham County on Highway 42 in Goshen, just north of the Goshen Store, the incred-ible 203-acre development features 93 estate size lots and more than 108 acres of permanent open space. Every lot backs up to wooded open areas, creeks or a lake.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the land and a desire to preserve and enhance it, Canfield's team of landscape architects, contractors and engineers planted more than 2,500 trees, all of which were at least 12 feet in height and many that were as tall as 35 feet. In addition, many low-to-the-ground bushes and orna-mental trees were planted to provide for wildlife corridors. A studied approach on how Mother Nature might have enhanced the area was implemented, with

numerous like varieties planted together. Many open meadows were preserved, and natural limestone boulders were added to define and protect defined spaces. A gorgeous pond was created to employ methods to replenish the ground water table and ensure proper water bio retention. Various soil types were left in place, and natural slopes and high points were preserved to maintain the natural lay of the land.

With Highway 42 recognized as an official scenic byway, Poplar Woods adds another landscape for passersby to admire, with black board fences and homes positioned at least 150 feet from the road. The careful planning of this develop-ment allows for homeowners to experience the true potential of the land and en-joy homes specifically designed to make the most of their natural surroundings.

Bella Casa offers homeowners plenty of reasons to celebrate amid its 7,500 square feet – whether it's a bottle of red or an extra serving of tiramisu, there are exquisite rooms in which to indulge and enjoy the in-credible beauty of the Italian-style home. The beauti-ful front exterior showcases a unique application of stucco over brick, giving the home an aged, old world appearance. A massive turret with three windows will inevitably turn heads of passersby who might check their GPSs to make sure they're in Goshen instead of old world Italy. The gorgeous 10-foot wrought iron arched door claims its own share of attention within a covered porch entry that is topped with a copper ga-ble. CASTLEBUILT HOMES' one-and-a-half story, six-bedroom creation has five-and-a-half baths and a floor plan that's meant to be enjoyed.

Chiseled travertine and hand scraped hardwood anchor most of the home's interior floors. The two-story foyer offers a friendly Italian-style welcome, with views of a faux finished dome ceiling and a gorgeous spiral staircase that features custom steps made from concrete and risers inlaid with a diamond travertine pattern. Just up a few stairs, is an offset study which is highlighted with a coffered stained wood ceiling. Extra tall wainscotting, a beautiful window and French doors add continued elegance to the unique space.

Just off the foyer, the dining room features more of the travertine and a barrel arched alcove. Nearby, is a wine bar within a gallery space that transitions to the great room through arched entryways. A two-story, stone, see-through fireplace separates the space from the hearth and kitchen areas. A metallic faux finished tray ceiling features rope lighting and casts a sunset glow within the great room. Exquisite trim and hand scraped hardwood add additional textural elements. Just beyond the windows and large sliding glass door

is a covered porch that features a bowed custom iron handrail and travertine flooring. The breakfast room offers beautiful views of the wooded creek area and showcases built-in banquette seating and a coffin tray ceiling.

The marinara can cook all day long in the incred-ible kitchen, which features a large chocolate-colored island and black cabinets that continue the old world nostalgic feel. The openness of the culinary space will provide easy getaways for mischievous kids who spy a plate of freshly baked cookies on the granite countertops. A spacious mud room features built-in cubbies and a bench that add organization and style. Nearby is the spacious laundry room, and just outside is a covered stoop area.

The master suite features a unique entry an-nounced with beautiful hardwood flooring. A private master foyer serves as a segue to a mirrored dress-ing area, complete with custom cabinetry and his and hers walk-in closets. Arched entries lead to the master bath and sleeping quarters, where a one-of-a-

kind arched ceiling is highlighted with a hammered copper finish. A window seat and a private, screened porch that has access to the adjoining family porch allow homeowners to enjoy the beautiful natural sur-roundings of the Bella Casa. The master bath is like a trip to the spa, with a large walk-in shower with dual heads, his and hers vanities and a beautiful tub. A domed ceiling adds elegance to the space.

Up the gorgeous staircase, family members can enjoy views of the foyer and great room from iron-railed balconies. Two raised bedrooms offer private baths, and two additional, extra large bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill bath. The lower level offers plenty of space the whole family can enjoy, including a home theater, full gym and hearth area with a cozy fireplace. A custom sauna gives owners added incen-tives for working out, while the circular, brick wine tasting room provides an ideal place to unwind. The lower level continues the Bella Casa's masquerade as an Italian-style villa with barrel arched ceilings, stained concrete flooring, brick walls and plenty of

areas for entertaining. A guest suite offers an open invitation to visiting friends and family. The recre-ation area walks out to a beautiful courtyard with a masonry fireplace, providing an intimate atmosphere for taking the party outdoors.

Builder Brian Arnold shares his vision of old world Italian architecture with homeowners who like to entertain and who value a stylish and functional floor plan that makes everyday living more organized and enjoyable. The Bella Casa offers an escape from the ordinary into a home that blends classic design, creative use of space and an appreciation for nature with plenty of opportunities to celebrate.

Maison de Famille

With head-turning curb appeal, the Maison de Fa-mille offers passersby plenty of reasons to admire its stunning, one-of-a-kind exterior and to imagine what creative treasures lie within the home's 7,700 square feet. Provident Homes has created a spectacular one-and-a-half-story, five-bedroom home, reminiscent of a French countryside estate. A circular drive offers a formal introduction to the stone entry and arched top mahogany front door. The stone continues to lend complementing textures to the brick exterior by high-lighting a massive chimney, front gable and retain-ing walls. The historic French nostalgia is accented with a charming cupola and old world-style windows. Beautifully positioned on a corner lot, the Maison de Famille offers as many inviting details all around its exterior, including a quaint courtyard patio and koi pond, a 20 x 40 built-in pool, an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and a screened back porch.

Visitors will be pleased to discover as many unique points of interest within. An incredible two-story spiral staircase captures the eye at first glance, with intriguing views of the great room competing for attention. Beautiful hardwood is introduced in the foyer, which continues into a nearby study, where homeowners will most certainly want to get down to business and enjoy the gorgeous stone fireplace and the elegance of the detailed ceiling, high wainscotting and built-in bookcases. A half bath is conveniently located just off the study, as is a very unique and tran-quil prayer room, which is highlighted with a gothic-style window.

The dining room presents an open invitation to grand celebrations with its gorgeous chandelier, built-in cabinetry, decorative trim, window nook and art niches. A butler's pantry makes hosting easy with a built-in coffee maker and convenient access to the kitchen. A wet bar offers guests a chance to freshen

their drinks before entering the incredible great room, which features a 13-foot high, 15-box coffered ceil-ing, plenty of crown moulding, wainscotting, built-in bookshelves and a stone fireplace flanked by two eight-foot sliding doors that lead to the back patio.

Custom trimmed arched entryways announce the kitchen and hearth room, which both feature more of the beautiful hardwood. Granite countertops are beautiful companions to the maple cabinets and butcher block top island. High-end kitchen appli-ances lend a modern element to the classic design of the kitchen. A beamed ceiling announces the hearth room, where another fireplace and flat screen TV in-vite family members to sit down and talk about their day. Convenience and style continue with five full baths and two half baths, a built-in elevator and a utility room that features a computer desk. Man's best friend is sure to appreciate the built-in dog washing area in the three-car garage.

A private entry ushers homeowners to their master suite, where a peaceful sitting area and access to the

screened porch create a private retreat. Extra trim and a beamed ceiling add elegance to the space. The master bath features beautiful ceramic tile, a walk-in shower, corner tub and his and hers vanities. A large center island, two walk -in closets, one with its own washer and dryer, offer additional conveniences to the master suite.

The upper level of Maison de Famille showcases creativity through the eyes of a child with a cowboy-themed bedroom, complete with a hay loft, and a children's media room that's designed to make learn-ing and playing at home a kid's first choice for fun. Another bedroom is designed especially for little princesses who like to dress up, and an additional bedroom will keep baby having sweet dreams for many years to come. A laundry room is also featured on the second level as well as a conditioned storage room.

A short elevator ride to the lower level reveals a play area for the grown-ups in the family. With multiple levels, builder Jeremy McGraw offers ho-

meowners a creative space to watch a movie in the sunken media room or sample the latest vintage in the wine room. A spacious recreation area offers an ideal area to socialize with friends and spend time with family. A guest suite and additional bedroom/office are also featured. Just outside, is a gorgeous brick courtyard.

It's no doubt that homeowners will tuck their pass-ports away, and instead escape to this energy-efficient French countryside-like retreat that has all the attrac-tion of a vacation far away and the conveniences and warmth of being comfortable right at home.

THE BEST TIME TO THINK ABOUT

SELLING A HOUSEIS BEFORE YOU BUILD IT.And think about building with brick. Americans stay in their homes about 7 years. But whether you sell sooner

or stay three times that long, selling has a huge impact on your balance sheet. Brick homes appraise for more

than similar vinyl-clad homes. And your brick home will typically sell faster because buyers feel brick is

more pleasing, safer and easier to maintain. Definitely something to think about before you sign on the line.

The Eliza Kate

Reminiscent of a French countryside estate, Joe Kroll's one-and-a-half story walkout offers hom-eowners the feeling of being miles away from every-day pressures without the long cross-country plane ride. The head-turning exterior suggests The Eliza Kate offers many more intriguing details within its 6,786 square feet. An incredible stone covered en-try commands center attention with a six-foot arched iron door with window lites. Water table brick in rich shades of brown and grey highlight the numerous ar-chitectural details of The Eliza Kate, and cast stone is showcased above several windows. A copper ac-cented gable adorns a bay window, lending a majes-tic feel to the front exterior. Old world style shutters and creative stone patterns offer additional European design influences. The six-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath home is gracefully positioned on a three-quarter acre lot with plenty of open space as a perfect back-drop to its countryside ambiance.

Inside, a semi-barrel ceiling with rope lighting welcomes guests to The Eliza Kate's foyer, which features beautiful hardwood, crown moulding and a high ceiling. A unique tray ceiling highlights the dining room where a divided lite window invites the sunset to formal dinner parties. Columns, crown moulding and a gorgeous chandelier add continued elegance to the space.

Located just off the foyer is a magnificent study that showcases a cove ceiling. Columns introduce the incredible great room where family members will inevitably choose to celebrate many holidays and special occasions. The back wall showcases open views of the beautiful landscape beyond and access to the covered porch, which features a steel rail and tile flooring. An octagon-trayed ceiling, crown mould-ing and more gorgeous hardwood offer classic design elements within the great room, which also includes

a magnificent tiled fireplace that provides the perfect excuse to snuggle up with a good mystery on a lazy afternoon.

The open floor plan of The Eliza Kate adds a ca-sual element to the elegant design, offering plenty of opportunities for families to spend time together, whether someone is preparing dinner in the kitchen, completing work in the breakfast area or tuning in to television in the hearth room. There's room for more than one chef in the gourmet-equipped culinary space with a double island that invites plenty of helpers to help slice a baguette or two. Custom Amish cabinets contribute to the French country style, while profes-sional appliances suggest a modern approach to pre-paring those long-held family recipes. The beautiful fireplace in the hearth room creates a relaxing area where family members can share the Sunday morn-ing paper and appreciate the gorgeous views outside. A breakfast room creates an ideal venue for week-end brunches or casual everyday dinners and offers access to the nearby covered porch. The mud room features cubbies and built-in benches and segues into the spacious laundry room, which includes a sink, folding area and hanging rod.

The master suite is accessible from a private hall-

way off the great room. The sleeping quarters fea-tures a hip vaulted ceiling, paddle fan and a gorgeous backyard view through a large picture window. A spacious walk-in closet contributes to organized stor-age and helps in deciding what to wear each morning. Double doors lead to the master bath, which showcas-es beautiful tile on the floors and within the shower. Granite countertops define the double vanity and an elegant tub is artistically tucked within a tempered glass window bay.

A wrought iron open-railed staircase ushers the imagination of curious guests eager to discover many more intriguing details throughout the rest of the home. The upper level of The Eliza Kate offers a cre-ative exploration into additional spaces where fami-lies can rest and play. A built-in bookcase in the hall-way makes bedtime story selections more accessible and a raised bedroom offers a unique area that can be used as a children's media room or in-law suite, with its own bathroom. The adjoining private balcony offers an additional perspective of the backyard and a relaxing area to sit back and enjoy warm summer breezes. A nearby bedroom features a private bath and a raised walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms feature walk-in closets and share a Jack-and-Jill bath.

Guests will most certainly look forward to re-ceiving their invitations to parties at The Eliza Kate. The entire lower level offers a dynamic entertaining space, with a fully-equipped bar made out of bamboo that is sure to draw large crowds. Guests and family members alike will enjoy a good movie in the media room or a competitive game of pool in the recreation space. An additional bedroom and bath create a per-fect guest retreat, and just off the recreation area is a private patio.

Builder Joe Kroll offers homeowners a thoughtful-ly designed floor plan that blends nostalgic, French-inspired designs with innovative use of technology, energy efficient products and building techniques and creative use of spaces. The Eliza Kate implores its inhabitants to simply enjoy its many areas designed for family members to spend time together.

Maranello

The 7,412 square foot Maranello offers a compel-ling front exterior with a dynamic copper-accented gable that announces two arched mahogany and bev-eled glass doors. A circular drive extends an open invitation for visiting friends and family who are dropping by for a swim in the beautiful pool around back. Brown-toned brick and stone adorn an assort-ment of interesting architectural elements, including a massive chimney and head-turning turret. Bright Built Homes' one-and-a-half story traditional walk-out includes four bedrooms, four full baths and two powder rooms. Graceful shutters, bullnose brick and keystones accent numerous windows. The beautiful front porch entry suggests the Maranello is a home where you'll most certainly feel welcomed.

An 18-foot ceiling, beautiful marble and an in-credible wooden spiral staircase greet guests in the spacious foyer. Nearby, the dining room is offset by columns and features a 10-foot ceiling with arched soffits. Hardwood flooring, a gorgeous chandelier, built-in furniture nook and two-piece chair rail add additional elegance. A triple window with transoms allows for natural light to emphasize the true archi-tectural beauty of the dining space. A few steps away is a dedicated wine closet and a butler's pantry.

Entertaining is encouraged within the Maranello with additional conveniences throughout the home, including a wine chilling cabinet in the kitchen. An-tique cream maple cabinets with a brown glaze com-plement the beautiful hand scraped hardwood floor that is featured throughout the kitchen and much of the main level. A black distressed island with a maple glaze and granite countertops present a beauti-ful landscape for the culinary artist. Built-in double ovens and a custom wood hood over the gas range allow homeowners to enjoy cooking with style and purpose. An open view of the breakfast and hearth

rooms allows for casual conversation and a relaxed atmosphere for family members as they catch up on each other's day. The hearth room boasts a beauti-ful stone fireplace and plenty of room for guests to mingle before dinner. The breakfast room features beautiful views of the backyard and pool and has ac-cess to the covered patio.

A nearby mud room gets everyone organized with built-in cubbies, and a quaint covered stoop wel-comes backdoor guests. The laundry room features beige tile, stained maple cabinets, a sink and folding table. Two powder rooms are located on the main level. A four-car garage offers an added benefit with a built-in car lift.

Positioned within the heart of the Maranello is the grand room, which is certain to be an ideal venue for many celebrations to come. With views of the beauti-ful in-ground pool, the space highlights the incred-ible attention to detailed craftsmanship that builder David Bright offers in all his homes. Three-piece crown moulding, wainscotting, columns and chair rail contribute to the graceful character of the two-story gathering space. Four arched transoms hover above the double atrium French doors that lead to the

covered patio. Beautiful built-in bookshelves feature arched designs and keystones. The granite fireplace showcases a wood mantel and an arched panel above with round columns and key stone accents.

A spacious study offers homeowners a place to enjoy a good book by the fire. A wall-and-a-half of built-in bookcases will certainly keep literary collec-tions in order and on display. A private entrance hall-way leads to an incredible master suite where large walk-in his and hers closets with wood shelving en-courage organization and make morning routines less hectic. The master bedroom features a mirrored wall and built-in bookcases as well as a double tray ceil-ing with three levels of crown moulding. A beautiful windowed sitting area offers an additional place to rest and relax. The master bath showcases chiseled travertine and a gorgeous granite-topped tub with a tiled skirt. The enormous walk-in shower is high-lighted with glass mosaic tiled windows and features dual heads and a body spray feature. Cherry cabinets with a black glaze, granite countertops and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures accent this incredible bathing area.

Family members will have their choice of path-ways to the second level, with staircases in both the

foyer and great room. Upstairs, two bedrooms, each with a private bath, and a large bonus room are fea-tured. Open balconies provide the benefit of window light in the two-story spaces below. Homeowners have the option of adding a future bedroom and bath within the unfinished space.

Homeowners can get away from it all in the lower level where a wet bar, theater room and spacious entertaining area offer a better alternative to a night on the town. A beautiful hearth area adds continued warmth and a place for friends to gather in the lower level. The large exercise room provides ample room to stretch and bend, while the adjoining sauna offers an incentive to make it through that workout. At first glance, Greystone Manor appears to have been transported from another time and place and gracefully positioned on exactly the right lot in Poplar Woods. It stands majestically on a small hillside, with its stone exterior embodying the re-gal elegance of an old English-style cottage es-tate. The five-bedroom, 7,789 square foot walk-out ranch showcases classic roof lines, and an abundance of old world details, including gable vents, cypress shutters and copper accented roof vents. The gorgeous wrought iron door suggests Fine Home Builders has created many more in-credible discoveries within.

A barrel-vaulted ceiling in the foyer continues the old world feel, with beautiful wide plank, hand distressed hickory hardwood flowing into the spaces nearby. An arched picture window highlights the dining room, which includes a chair rail, crown moulding and recessed panel, six-foot-tall wainscotting. A butler's pantry offers a convenient transition to the kitchen.

In the great room, another large arched picture window offers a commanding design element, ushering in natural light and casting an elegant glow within the space. A marble gas fireplace adds more ambiance and warmth, while the beamed vaulted ceiling continues the English cot-tage design. Arched entryways lead to an inviting gathering space that showcases a gorgeous ma-sonry fireplace and a unique, random laid slate tile floor. Large windows draw the eye outside to appreciate the outdoor entertaining area, which includes a fireplace, full kitchen, patio and per-gola, through which one enters the lush tree-can-opied back yard.

An additional arched opening announces the kitchen, where cherry and walnut cabinetry com-bine with concrete and stainless steel countertops to create a gourmet kitchen any chef would be proud to use. With two sub-zero refrigerators and two ovens, as well as additional conveniences such as a pot filler and prep center with built-in steamer, the kitchen offers homeowners an op-portunity to perfect those secret family recipes in style. A spacious breakfast area features a triple patio door that leads to the nearby deck. Tremen-dous views of the wooded landscape beyond can further be appreciated through oversized windows in the open hearth room, which features a beauti-ful octagon turret vaulted ceiling and yet another fireplace.

Tucked away beyond the great room is an in-credible, spacious study, which features built-in bookcases. The walls and ceiling offer a library-style appearance with beautiful recessed wood panels surrounding the entire room. Nearby is the master suite that boasts a vaulted tray ceiling and paddle fan. The master bedroom has access to

its own deck, offering homeowners a private re-treat with views of the backyard. The master bath showcases a gorgeous porcelain paver tile floor and walnut cabinetry with concrete vanity tops and chrome fixtures. A dressing table and built-in linen closet offer more conveniences. Dual show-er heads and a body massage feature add to the luxurious shower experience. A large air-jet tub is highlighted with a glass block window.

Two additional bedrooms, each with a private bath, are included on the main level. A laundry room features ceramic tile and a built-in ironing board and folding area. An Asko low water use washer and drying cabinet contribute to the en-ergy-efficient offerings in Greystone Manor. Two powder rooms also serve the main level.

An open railed staircase leads to the lower level, which features an exercise room/tranquility spa with a glass block shower. An incredible rec-reation area offers ample space for large parties or a competitive game of pool or cards. The bar area is highlighted with a humidor cabinet and built-in seating. A wine room is featured behind the bar

and a mounted TV keeps everyone up-to-date on the latest Sports Center headlines. Nearby is a cafe area just outside the media room. A spacious guest or second master suite features a large bath with a claw foot tub and two walk-in closets.

Shakes Run is located off Shelbyville Road on Eastwood/Fisherville Road in East Jefferson County and features a beautiful clubhouse, a resort-style pool with whirlpool spas, fountains and a children's fountain play area, a fishing lake and 70 acres of open space with walking trails and several creeks. Shakes Run includes several distinct villages and 484 large wooded lots, with most of the lots backing up to woods, lakes, creeks or open space. Homes start at $450,000, offering owners in this price range an incredible value considering the quality craftsmanship of the homes, the country club-style atmosphere and convenient location.

Home sites and roads were planned around the land's natural ridge lines, and

many existing stream beds and valleys were left untouched. As a result, nearly 30 percent of Shakes Run is open space and vegetated areas. Hundreds of trees taller than 35 feet were brought in and ponds have been added to enhance the existing beauty of the land and preserve the natural resources.

The Canfield team traveled all over the country to find inspiration for creat-ing the resort-style clubhouse and social gathering spaces. Plans to include a fitness center, volleyball courts, outdoor fire pits and waterfalls are currently in the works. Shakes Run was designed to offer owners a place where they can enjoy the privacy of their own elegantly-designed homes as well as gather with neighbors and friends to create a sense of community.

The Douglas Ann offers homeowners a creative, peaceful retreat among its 4,484 square feet, with plenty of areas for families to enjoy time together and enough space for privacy as well. Stonelake Homes' traditional walkout ranch features three bedrooms and three baths and an open floor plan designed for today's active families.

Heritage grey architectural brick and Kentucky blend limestone highlight the exterior, along with quoine corners, paneled shutters and a gorgeous dou-ble arched wooden door. The two-car garage features built-in storage, a utility sink and refrigerator.

Inside, white oak hardwood with a coffee brown stain greets guests in the foyer. Nearby, a formal din-ing room features a beamed ceiling, crown moulding and classic columns, creating an elegant atmosphere where passing the gravy will most certainly be ex-ecuted with much care and pride.

The breakfast room and kitchen showcase more of the beautiful white oak hardwood and offer a gor-geous backdrop for testing out favorite recipes. Trop-ic brown granite countertops complement the black forest stained cabinets and neutral-colored walls, offering a tribute to The Douglas Ann's natural sur-roundings. Of particular interest in the kitchen is a gorgeous buffet cabinet that adds personality to the space. A side-by-side refrigerator, advantium oven, warming drawer, and an induction cooktop with a wood mantle and stainless tile insert blend function with style.

The great room is announced with columns and an arched entryway with incredible views of the porch and backyard beyond. A see-through gas fireplace evokes a cozy, cottage-style feel and rope lighting within the hip vaulted ceiling accents the spacious area. The covered porch and adjoining deck create an outdoor escape that is sure to be a common gathering place for evenings by the exterior stone fireplace with

friends and neighbors. Recognizing the schedules of busy families on the

go, builder Dan Smith added an organization station that also functions as a dry bar for the dining room. Homeowners will enjoy plenty of closet space and additional creative areas that make living in The Douglas Ann very functional and easy-to-maintain.

The master suite also enjoys the beauty of the backyard with access to the spacious deck. Within the neutral-toned sleeping area, a three-foot raised tray ceiling with wood beams gives a lodge-style feel in the bedroom. The master bath offers an ideal place to start or end the day, with a built-in TV, antique ivo-ry cabinets, granite countertops and rich brown and smokey topaz shades. A spacious tiled and frameless glass shower features built-in seating, and the tub is elegantly positioned as a centerpiece of the bathing area. The large walk-in closet not only offers organi-

zation, but also is accessible from the laundry room, making it a few steps easier for getting those clothes into the washer. Two additional bedrooms are fea-tured on the main level, one of which adjoins a wash and dressing room.

Com-manding center stage downstairs is a gorgeous wet bar that divides the entertainment spaces. Telfair House

Beautifully situated on a large corner lot, the Telfair House borrows Mother Nature's color palette for a unique combination of canary grass colored brick ac-cented by dark brown shutters and trim. Designed by traditional home architect Jonathan Miller, whose homes have been featured in Southern Living and New Old House magazine, the 2,400 square foot ranch features a dental mould soldier course and bull-nose accents on the front porch stairs and window sills. A gorgeous eight-foot arched wood and glass front door is flanked by oversized shutters, offering a gracious welcome to visiting friends and family. Cop-per accented dormers and the columned front porch give a traditional feel to Terry Lloyd's three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home.

A 12-foot ceiling and an impressive display of crown moulding are showcased in the seven-foot wide foyer. Recycled antique wide-planked hard-wood and arched entryways with intricate trim ac-cents announce a formal entry hall that ushers guests down a beautiful corridor leading to the Great Room. Old world furnishings and coach lights contribute to the traditional feel of the unique pathway. French doors present a creatively designed bedroom/study that features built-in bookshelves and a window that overlooks the front porch. A bedroom and bath are located just off the entry hall, which continues the tra-ditional feel of a home that's meant to be enjoyed. A furniture alcove offers an ideal location for an antique hutch or serving station for guests to freshen drinks or enjoy appetizers.

Wide-planked hardwood continues into the great room, where a granite wood burning fireplace with a gas starter adds to the nature-inspired design ele-ments. An eclectic combination of traditional fur-nishings interpret the space where red accents com-bine with earthy tones of brown, black and green. A built-in surround sound system makes watching a movie seem like the real thing. A traditionally styled

mantle and custom built-in shelving with stained bead board garner applause from even the most dis-criminate craftsman. Classic architectural details and lighting create a casually elegant environment where homeowners can enjoy spending quality time with each other. Just outside is a covered porch area that features a stained bead board ceiling, paddle fan and outdoor speakers. The porch overlooks a beautiful backyard where a sandstone boulder retaining wall blends with the natural surroundings of the Telfair House.

In the kitchen, homeowners will be eager to try out new recipes with their professional level appliances. The cabinet bases have a black rubbed-through finish topped with light colored granite countertops. Cream-colored upper cabinets offer contrasting tones, and a large island provides plenty of room for chopping fruits and vegetables. Nearby, a casual dining area is tucked within its own alcove, where a cup of coffee and the Sunday paper can be enjoyed under a canopy of natural light from the windows that surround. Just

off the dining area, five-foot bead board ushers hom-eowners to a mud room where a built-in bench and chalkboard organizing station make coming and go-ing more efficient. Just off the mud room is a half bath and laundry room with a built-in sink and fold-ing area.

The master suite features a private entry and a relaxing place to settle down for the night. Double French doors lead to the master bath, which is an-chored with carrera marble and highlighted with blue tones. A cast iron pedestal tub steals the spotlight and is sure to host many good long soaks in the future. Granite countertops, picture-framed arched mir-rors, built-in cabinets with seeded glass and chrome fixtures adorn the double vanity. A frameless glass shower door also contributes to the spa-like feel of the space. The large walk-in closet with built-in shelving keep homeowners organized on busy week-day mornings.

This Energy Star house offers a thoughtfully de-signed floor plan that combines traditional architec-

Wiltshire Manor

Inspired by the quaint historic ambiance of a local church in Pewee Valley, Victory Home Builders, LLC has created a 3,678 square foot walkout ranch that embodies a graceful, nostalgic elegance sure to prompt passersby to stop for a moment of peace-ful reflection. The American Gothic style design includes five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, with intriguing exterior details that contribute to Wilt-shire Manor's head-turning curb appeal. In shades of taupe, red and brown, the home's brick and limestone exterior combines with Gothic-style windows and an eight-foot round mahogany front door to present an extraordinary welcome to friends and family.

Recycled hardwood in the foyer introduces guests to a home that's thoughtfully designed with an open floor plan that indulges plenty of entertaining. In-credible Gothic windows accent the dining room, which is highlighted by a faux finished cloistered ceiling with a sanctuary-style influence. A gorgeous chandelier adds elegance and style to a space that is sure to host many family celebrations. Arched entry-ways usher guests into the great room to mingle by the glass-wrapped, three-sided, see-through fireplace and appreciate the beautiful 12-foot coffered ceiling with stained beams and spacious gathering area. Just outside is a welcoming covered deck. With conve-nient access to the gourmet kitchen, family members can always know what's cooking.

Recipes, both new and passed down from genera-tions, will find a comfortable home in the kitchen, which showcases modern technologies within its historically inspired spaces. Glass-accented Mission-style espresso maple cabinets, featuring wine and plate racks, span nearly 12 feet in height. Granite countertops complement the beautiful hardwood and a farm-style sink adds a nostalgic elegance. A high top bar extends an open invitation for guests to sam-ple appetizers. A cozy hearth room shares the warmth

of the three-side fireplace and a relaxing environment to catch up with an old friend over coffee. Windows in the breakfast and hearth room areas offer more in-credible views of the woods and creek beyond.

The master suite features a hip vaulted faux fin-ished ceiling, and soothing shades of grey and purple are accented with elaborate window treatments. The entire master bathroom is adorned in exquisite grey and white Venetian marble. Homeowners will enjoy stepping up into the Roman-style tub, which features a beautiful canopy-influenced drape that adds a regal touch to the relaxing bathing area. Espresso maple cabinets and marble countertops are highlighted with chrome fixtures and two vessel bowl sinks. The fra-meless shower includes a body massage feature. For added convenience, a spacious laundry room is ac-cessible from the bathroom. A large walk-in closet completes the space. Designed for both style and functional living, the master suite offers owners a re-laxing get-away-from-it-all feeling that's so good to come home to.

Two additional bedrooms and a bath are included

on the main level, just off the foyer. A two-car garage features carriage style doors and space for a mud area with a large closet and bench that makes coming and going more organized. Insulated walls and doors help regulate the temperature.

Partygoers at the Wiltshire Manor will certainly have no trouble finding their way downstairs. Be-yond the arched entryway, there's plenty of room to enjoy a game of pool in the spacious recreation area. A built-in bar is accented by gold leaf detail and a mirrored backdrop. The media room will be a popular gathering place on Super Bowl Sunday, with plenty of areas for friends and family to cheer on their teams. Uniquely designed square cutouts add an open and artistic feel to the space. A large bedroom and bath offer an ideal retreat for visiting friends and family. An additional conversation starter is the gar-den room with access to the patio where homeown-ers with a green thumb can plan and prepare for their outdoor plantings.

Builder Renotta Henson has more than five years' experience as an exclusive Energy Star rated builder.

Forsyth Park

Old world charm meets the conveniences of a modern lifestyle in Key Homes' four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath traditional walkout ranch. Forsyth Park's cottage-style ambiance is the perfect complement to the home's corner lot and treed back yard. With 4,040 finished square feet, builder Billy Doelker gives own-ers plenty of space to enjoy a comfortable floor plan, with even more room to grow into unfinished spaces. On the exterior, beautiful red brick is highlighted with black shutters. Natural limestone, tan Hardie board siding and plenty of windows add casual ele-ments to the home and celebrate its natural surround-ings. The stone-accented porch welcomes guests with a courtyard-style entry and the arched wooden and glass double front door embodies the casual, elegant charm found within the home's interior.

Inside, a unique barrel-vaulted ceiling accented with brick face tile that travels down to the side walls makes a one-of-a-kind introduction to the foyer. Nearby, French doors announce a beautiful and spa-cious study. Just off the foyer, the dining room offers a perfect venue for family meals under a magnificent three-tray ceiling and chandelier. The relaxing green tones, crown moulding and high wainscotting remind guests that this is a special place to gather.

Beautiful oak hardwood ushers visitors through a grand opening that leads to the great room, where a coffered ceiling highlights the expansive space. A stone gas fireplace serves as a focal point of the room, anchored by two large windows that invite Mother Nature to play an important role in the design. Built-ins add to the custom look and feel of the great room, which is open to the kitchen and breakfast areas. The family chef will enjoy being able to easily in-teract with others within the convenient design of the kitchen, which showcases shades of soft yellow and sage mocha. A tiled backsplash adds more texture and style to the space, and a tiled accent on the beauti-

ful range hood ties the artistic design together. Maple cabinets and granite countertops add just the right in-gredients to this well-designed culinary retreat. An apron-front sink and beautiful hardwood continue the cottage-style feel of the home, and a spacious break-fast area offers plenty of window light and access to a peaceful covered deck.

Homeowners will enjoy incredible views of the backyard and proximity to the deck from the sitting area of the master suite. A unique hip-vaulted, bead board ceiling complements shades of blue within the sleeping quarters. A gorgeous master bath offers the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The tiled walk-in shower features dual heads and a freestand-ing tub that invites an elegant bathing environment. A large double vanity features brick tile and framed mirrors and is accented with oil-rubbed bronze fix-

tures. The nearby linen cabinet and large walk-in closet offer convenience and organization.

Two additional bedrooms feature spacious closets, large windows and share a Jack-and-Jill bath on the main level. The laundry room includes a built-in sink, cubbies and a hanging clothes rack.

Guests will certainly enjoy an invitation to relax in the lower level of Forsyth Park. A gorgeous bar topped with recycled glass and stone accents wel-comes them to pull up a stool and enjoy the party. French doors announce the exercise room, which offers plenty of space to stretch with natural light from a large picture window filtering in during morn-ing workouts. The entertainment and media area is THE place to play pool and watch the big game or settle in for a good movie on lazy weekend nights. A guest bedroom is also featured. The lower level walks

out onto a patio overlooking the park-like backyard, where a fire pit is sure to host late night conversations with good friends and neighbors.

Lasting Impression

The Lasting Impression lives up to its name with an eye-catching craftsman style design and a five-bed-room open floor plan that offers families plenty of creative spaces to enjoy. Brick and limestone com-bine to define the 4,675 square foot home's exterior. Chocolate mortar, walnut shaker style shutters, clay trim and prairie style windows accented by beautiful stone contribute to the craftsman style appeal. Com-manding attention on the front exterior is a gorgeous stone entry with an arched, eight-foot double front door. Dogwood Home's one-and-a-half story walkout is positioned in front of a treed conservation area and is adjacent to Shake Run's clubhouse. A front yard water feature suggests this is a place where sense of style and relaxation are taken seriously.

Just inside the Lasting Impression, a sloped ceil-ing, beautiful candelabra and custom hand scraped birch hardwood with a decorative inlay greet guests in the foyer. The nearby dining room is offset by col-umns and highlighted with a beautiful coffered ceil-ing, wallpaper, chair rail and chandelier. A built-in furniture nook serves as a companion focal point of the room, sharing the spotlight with a beautiful win-dow that overlooks the front porch.

A slope vaulted great room showcases more crafts-man style design and will most likely serve as a com-mon venue for family gatherings. Beautiful hand scraped birch hardwood anchors the room. A triple door with transoms leads to a relaxing covered porch that shares one side of a see-through stone fireplace. Remote controlled screens on the porch offer hom-eowners flexibility to enjoy clear views of the natural landscape or the benefits of a screened shelter. Near-by, the kitchen features recessed bead board panels, Venetian gold granite countertops and maple cabinets with a caramel glaze. Vintage midnight black cabi-nets support the center island with a raised breakfast bar that's sure to summon guests to socialize before dinner. A built-in planning desk makes gathering daily essentials more organized. A custom decorative

hood highlights the gas cooktop, and two ovens keep the family chef baking those special treats everyone enjoys. A cozy hearth room features built-in shelving and a view of the see-through fireplace. Just off the hearth and breakfast room areas is a grilling station and deck that is certain to host many outdoor barbecues.

The master suite is accented with a trayed casket vault ceiling and paddle fan. Of interest to late night television fans is a remote controlled flat screen TV that lowers out of the master ceiling. The room also has access to the covered back porch. The master bath is truly a get-away-from-it-all retreat with an in-credible walk-through shower that features a stained art glass window and an arched entry to the beautiful whirlpool tub with a barrel vaulted ceiling. His and hers vanities offer plenty of space for busy morning routines and a built-in TV nook keeps homeowners informed and entertained. Granite countertops, oiled bronze fixtures, caramel glazed maple cabinets and multi-sized travertine accent the dynamic bathroom. A spacious walk-in closet and linen cabinet add orga-nization and function.

Upstairs is an exploration in creativity with an enormous children's theatre room, complete with built-in video cabinets. The space shares a Jack and Jill bath with an additional bedroom that features a cone shaped ceiling and large dormer. A hallway bal-cony overlooks the vaulted great room, and a conve-nient laundry chute makes it easy to organize every-day clothing. Down the hall is another bedroom with a casket vault ceiling, a private bath and a creatively designed children's art studio with a built-in paint ea-sel and shelving.

In the lower level, an incredible theater room features a 110-inch projection screen and plenty of room to sit back, kick up your feet and relax with a good movie. A stained concrete floor and reclaimed brick add character to the lower level entertaining ar-eas, and a fully equipped bar area won't leave guests thirsty. A spacious recreation area features an ideal opportunity to hit the striped ball in the side pocket, and a designated Texas Holdem space is sure to be the site of many weekend poker games. Just outside is a covered patio area. An additional bedroom and bath

Extreme Inspiration

Inspired by the home that Elite Homes built for Pat-rick Henry Hughes and his family for Extreme Make-over: Home Edition in 2007, the Extreme Inspiration features many similarities that were incorporated into the Hughes' project. Classic elegance best describes the three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath Extreme In-spiration. The traditional 4,595 square foot walkout ranch offers incredible views of gorgeous green spac-es and an open and thoughtfully designed floor plan. It's also conveniently located close to the clubhouse. The exterior of Elite Homes' Energy Star house is highlighted with creamy white architectural brick and classic taupe trim. Reminiscent of days gone by, a beautiful stained wood door, accented with an arched transom and glass pane sidelites, is tucked within a quaint, covered front porch.

Designed for entertaining and relaxing in style, the foyer appropriately welcomes guests with a gor-geous chandelier, hand scraped maple hardwood and a clear view of the great room and backyard land-scape. Nearby, the dining room features a uniquely decorated tray ceiling, crown moulding and a chair rail accented with mirrored panels. A large window with an arched transom offers a distinctive open and bright feel to the room, which is most certainly going to host many special occasions to come.

Double French doors lead to a beautiful study just off the foyer, giving owners an elegant venue to work or play. The great room is an ideal place to kick off your shoes and enjoy a family game by the fire. A vaulted cathedral ceiling, paddle fan, beautiful gas fireplace, plasma TV and custom, built-in shelving make this seem like a home that's designed for com-fort. An incredible 12 x 8 foot double French door and more of the beautiful maple hardwood flooring highlight the home's natural surroundings.

There's plenty of room to venture a few feet into the kitchen for a sample of what's cooking. The com-bined open space shared by the great room, kitchen and breakfast room continues the warm, welcom-

ing embrace of the Extreme Inspiration. Just off the breakfast room is a screened deck, where many lazy Saturday morning cups of coffee are sure to be sa-vored. The kitchen is an invitation to pull up a stool and join the chef for casual conversation during din-ner preparation. A large island features plenty of working space and creamy white cabinets with a cof-fee glaze complement the hand scraped cocoa brown hardwood flooring. Soft, light colors lend a classic, traditional feel to the kitchen. Modern conveniences are not forgotten, however, with stainless steel appli-ances, a built-in fridge, advantium microwave and a convection oven.

A private master foyer includes a mirrored niche and a double tray ceiling within the arched entry-way. The master suite is highlighted with a double tray ceiling and atrium doors that lead to the screened deck. The master bath offers the perfect get-away-from-it-all retreat with beautiful porcelain tile, Ve-netian bronze fixtures, marble countertops and more of the coffee-glazed creamy white cabinets. The spacious walk-in shower features a rain shower and

body massage unit and the corner whirlpool tub of-fers a perfect venue for a good, long soak. A built-in linen cabinet and large walk-in closet provide owners plenty of room to stay organized.

The powder room is highlighted with a gorgeous art glass window and pedestal sink. An additional bedroom on the main level features an adjoining pri-vate bath and gorgeous views of the backyard. An open staircase with a beautiful leaded glass palladian window invites guests to explore the lower level, which includes incredible spaces that make entertain-ing easy and fun. Guests and family members alike will most certainly frequent the fully-equipped wet bar and recreation area, which opens up to a covered patio. A large wine room is highlighted with glass next to the bar, giving guests a sneak peak at the vintage collection beyond. Stone arches define addi-tional spaces, which also include a billiards area and media center. What's sure to be a conversation starter among new guests is the incredible exercise room that features a boxing ring, complete with mirrors and all the accessories to throw that one-two punch.

An additional bedroom and bath are also included on the lower level.

Despite the traditional design, the Extreme Inspi-ration is very modern behind the scenes, with innova-tive wiring, a central vacuum system, a built-in stereo and a video camera alarm system with internet capa-bilities. Elite Homes has created a home that is cer-tainly like no other, with creative architectural details and inviting spaces designed for both privacy and large gatherings. It's no doubt that homeowners will enjoy its convenient location, energy efficient quali-ties, classic style and peaceful retreat-like setting for many years to come.

Notre Maison

Provident Homes' 4,218 square foot walkout ranch backs up to a beautiful green space that evokes a countryside retreat feel. The home itself is designed to transport its owners to a place that seems worlds away from everyday stress and pressures. The French country exterior features exposed beams over the stone-accented entry, creating a nostalgic pathway to the eight-foot arched mahogany double door. Rough sawn cedar shutters and natural stone accents around the windows contribute to the home's elegant exterior.

Inside the foyer, high ceilings, columns and beau-tiful hand scraped birch hardwood flooring extend a warm welcome. Just beyond is a spacious great room that offers incredible views of the covered porch and natural landscape surrounding. An elegant coffered ceiling highlights the space and built-in shelves are anchored by a large tiled gas fireplace. Large win-dows wrapped in detailed trim usher in natural light in what is sure to be a poplar gathering place for all family members.

Adjoining the great room is the kitchen and din-ing/hearth areas, which combine to create a casual and easy-flowing entertainment space. A large island encourages hungry guests to serve as taste testers in the beautifully designed culinary space. Granite countertops and stained maple cabinets add elegance, while the large farmer's sink brings in more of the French country style. The dining/hearth room offers an ideal location for casual celebrations or elaborate dinner parties. A gorgeous stone fireplace highlights the back wall, where more windows showcase the natural landscape beyond. Neutral colors comple-

ment the custom craftsmanship and creative use of space, and a large sliding glass door lead to a beauti-ful covered porch.

The nearby mud room offers an ideal area to stay organized with built-in lockers, a bench and a cell phone charging station. The laundry room features tile flooring and plenty of room to keep whites and darks separated.

A hallway leading to the master suite features a creative built-in art niche, with a private segue to the sleeping quarters. A vaulted ceiling and paddle fan highlights the space. The master bath defines his and hers areas, with separate vanities and a walk-in closet that's large enough for each homeowner. A beautiful window is featured over the corner tub and a tiled walk-in shower completes the retreat-like feel of the master suite. Two additional bedrooms are found on the main level, including a beautiful nursery that

shares a Jack-and-Jill bath with a spacious back bed-room. A family computer desk is positioned between the two bedrooms, providing an ideal homework area or space for keeping family events and finances in order.

The open staircase offers an invitation to explore the lower level, which treats guests with unique areas for relaxation and entertaining. A raised bar offers a bird's eye view of the recreation space. With a spa-cious area to serve guests in style, the bar will most certainly be a common place where close friends and family will mingle. Eleven-foot ceilings allow for plenty of room for a game of pool or watching the game on the big screen. The lower level entertaining area walks out onto a patio where friends can gather around the fire pit for late night talks. Back inside, homeowners can keep true to those New Year's reso-lutions in the exercise room. An additional bedroom

serves as a peaceful guest room or study. The Notre Maison offers storage space in the

unfinished area in the lower level. Designed for families who like to entertain, this Energy Star home provides an ideal retreat that blends nostalgic design with modern conveniences. Builder Jeremy McGraw offers homeowners a unique combination of modern technologies, quality craftsmanship and a floor plan designed for today's busy lifestyles.
