The available power liftgate can be remotely operated with the simple push of a button on the key.

The optional Rear Seat VideoTM System with a larger eight-inch screen plays audio CDs and MP3s

or video DVDs. Important stats such as distance to empty, temperature reading, compass and

maintenance intervals are digitally displayed on Aspen’s Electronic Vehicle Information Center

With its front frame rail tips and the surrounding protection of its safety cage construction,

➤ All models include advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags.* Within split

seconds, Aspen makes immediate adjustments to its air bag deployment, inflating with a

force that is appropriate to the severity of the impact.

➤ Side-Occupant Protection System. This standard feature includes supplemental side-curtain

air bags* that extend to all three rows of seats. It also uses a roll detection system that

deploys in certain rollover scenarios and side-impact events, utilizing multiple sensors to

determine the severity of the impact.

➤ SecureShield® laminated side-window glass is made of material similar to that of the vehicle’s

windshield and therefore can break, but not shatter. This deters theft intrusion and contributes to cabin

noise reduction.

➤ Electronic Stability Program† (ESP). All the features that comprise ESP — Brake Assist, all-speed

traction control, Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM), and Trailer Sway Control (TSC) — constantly
