Polaris RZR Rackzilla Installation

1. Park vehicle on a flat surface. Center the steering wheel. With a tape measure, measure the distancebetween the 2 front wheels from the same spot on the tread. Measure from the front of the tires andthe rear of the tires. The difference is your total toe. Record that measurement. You will need to reset

it there when the new rack is installed.

2. Remove the bolt at the pinion and steering shaft. This is a 17mm bolt head and nut. Once removedyou will need to reuse it so do not lose it.

3. Remove the outer tie rod end bolts on both sides. Remove the 3 bolts that hold the rack housing tothe frame and the 2 bolts on the passenger side of the rack.

4. With all the fasteners disconnected you can now pull down on the rack to disengage the u joint fromthe pinion and remove the rack.

5. Install the rack assembly in place and making sure that your rack is centered, center the steeringwheel and spline the u joint onto the pinion. Secure the rack in position reusing the hardware you

removed from the housing earlier. Tighten the bolts to 40 ft lbs.

6. Install the thru bolt into the lower shaft assembly and tighten to 40 ft lbs. Note the steering shaft andthe pinion spline have a blind tooth. They must be lined up in order to go together.

7. Place the new style heim joint under the lower part of the steering arm. Insert the provided bushinginto the heim and install the stock nut and bolt into the steering arm and through the heim. Next,

torque to 35 ft lbs.

8. Measure from the same spots on your front tires and set your toe to what you had previouslyrecorded. To adjust the toe, loosen the jam nut and turn the inner tie rod in or out as needed. Tightenthe jam nut and make sure the steering wheel is centered. It may be necessary to remove the steering

wheel and re-center it. You are now ready to drive.
