2007 IDF MARKETING AWARDS PRESENTED AT THE IDF WORLD DAIRY SUMMIT Dublin, 4 October 2007 - The International Dairy Federation announced the winners of the 2007 IDF Marketing Awards at the Gala Dinner at the World Dairy Summit in Dublin on 3 October 2007. The 2007 IDF Marketing Awards covered three categories: Nutri -Marketing, Innovation and Marketing Communication. And the winners were… Nutri - marketing Gujarat Milk Marketing Federation - Amul Probiotic Ice Cream Campaign - India Innovation Corporación Alimentaria Peñasanta - “Milk Bottle” campaign - Spain Marketing Communications Maeil Dairy Industry Ltd - “Banana is born white” campaign - South Korea Commenting on the IDF Marketing Awards, IDF President, Jim Begg said, “I would like to congratulate the winners on their outstanding campaigns and their success in the 2007 IDF Marketing Awards. These campaigns are excellent examples of best practise in branded and generic marketing from around the world, and as with all the entries, they show that dairy companies and dairy farmers are prepared to invest in marketing activities to sell their products. In markets around the world that are volatile and highly competitive, dairy products have a role in health balanced diets, and these campaigns have demonstrated the ability of well planned and executed marketing investments to drive volume sales and revenue.
