Created in June 2002, ULIS is a subsidiary of SOFRADIR andCEA (French Atomic Energy Agency). Its mission is to developand produce uncooled infrared detectors indented for use inthe market for low cost infrared equipments. The technology ofinfrared detectors used by ULIS is based on a thermometermade from amorphous silicon. Audio/Video/Digital Recording PolicyIn the Exhibition Hall: For security and courtesy reasons, photo-graphing or videotaping individual schells and displays in theexhibit hall is allowed ONLY with explicit permission from onsitecompany representatives. Individuals not complying with thispolicy will be asked to surrender their film and to leave the exhi-bition hall.

In the Meeting Rooms: Because of copyright restrictions, no re-cordings of any kind are permitted without prior written consentof the presenter in any course. Consent forms are available atthe SPIE Audiovisual Desk, and anyone wishing to record musthave a written consent form signed and filed for each presenterbeing recorded. Individuals not complying with this policy willbe asked to leave a given session and to surrender their film orrecording media.

Underage Persons on the Show FloorFor safety and insurance reasons, only children over the age of12, accompanied by an adult, will be allowed on the show floorduring open hours.

During exhibition set-up, only children over the age of 16 al-lowed in the Exhibition Hall.
