Performance Ignition Control The MSD Multiple Spark Discharge Control unit has won more races and championships

than any other race ignition system. The success of MSD Ignition lies in its ability to consis-tently ignite the air/fuel mixtures in all types of racing engines.

6A Ignition Control MSD6200The 6A is the base unit of the MSD 6 Series. Street or strip, the 6A will promote complete

combustion throughout the entire RPM range. It will work with any 12-16 volt vehicle, and can be triggered with breaker points, electronic amplifier, or a magnetic pickup. Includes installation kit, wiring and instructions.

6AL With Soft Touch Rev Control MSD6420The MSD 6AL has all the features of the 6A plus a built-in Soft Touch Rev Control. The

energy. A Three-Step Rev Control is built-into the 7AL-3 allowing separate RPM settings for limiting burnout, staging, and race RPM. The Multi-Step Retard feature has four different modules which may be activated at different times by components such as a nitrous solenoid or a micro-switch on a shifter. A Start Retard may be used if the engine has a distributor with a locked out advance system or is equipped with a crank trigger. Pro-Billet DistributorsPro-Billet Distributors are the result of

many years of race experience and test-ing. Housings are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and feature an upper sealed ball bearing to eliminate shaft wobble. A Rynite cap, adjustable mechanical advance, hardened 10,000 RPM plus shaft, and high output magnetic pickup assure years of reliable service. Extra advance springs and advance bushings for tuning adjustments are included. Most MSD distributors require an MSD Ignition Control, unless specified.
