It’s true everything a superhero grows in their garden stays fresher longer in Tupperware….everything from orchids to onions. Here’s how Tupperware does it: The patented Tupperware seal locks air out-locks flavor, freshness (and fragrance) in! It’s smart to economize by turning leftovers into “plan-overs” with Tupperware. To learn more about Tupperware join Batgirl at a Tupperware party. You’ll see how Tupperware’s beautiful unbreakable plastic containers save food or flowers—and time in your kitchen!

The Animal Rescue focuses on providing food for some of the 27 million unwanted animals given to shelters in

the US every year. Over 10 million animals are put to death

every year in the US alone because they are unwanted, abandoned, or abused. We are always in need of help, whether it be monetary donations, donations of goods and services or just a pair of hands to help with fund raising, dog walking, cat trapping or cage cleaning. We always have dogs and puppies available for adoption. Please come see us to have a look at some of our homeless dogs. If you can give one of them the good home they deserve, please call us on 457 1111. We are always looking for new volunteers. If you live in the area, like animals and have a few hours a month to spare, please consider becoming a fully fledged PAWS Volunteer.

“Who Moved my Cheese” Presenter: Joe Tormos

It is an amusing and enlightening program that can alter the way people adapt to change. In a simple parable that reveals profound truths, this program tells the story of four characters that live in a "Maze" and look for "Cheese" to make them happy. "Cheese" is the metaphor for what people want in both their personal and professional life. The "Maze" symbolizes the place where people look for what they want. The "Handwriting on the Wall" gives a memorable way for participants to manage change.

“Business as Unusual” Presenter: Joe Tormos

Things are changing. It’s a different ball game now and employees need to avoid falling into the common organizational traps during times of change and transition. Manage change, instead of letting it manage you.

“Eats, Shoots and Leaves" Presenter: Bobbi Rigoulot Correct and appropriate punctuation has taken a severe blow from the “sloppy usage and low standards on the internet,” casual email messaging, short cuts to writing in text messaging, and the invention of abbreviations and acronyms that ignore proper punctuation and grammar. Lynn Truss strikes her blow in English speaking countries all over the world to alert the readers and inspire the hearty to revolt by adamantly supporting acceptable practices and refusing to tolerate anything less than appropriate punctuation. Having read her book and no doubt been inspired to focus on self-improvement and be on guard in reading other writings, you will now participate in or observe a competition that will test your skills. Be alert! You may be called on next! And don’t let the grammar vigilantes catch you!

“Write and Wrong” Presenter: Bobbi Rigoulot Ok, so you’ve read the book, “Eats, Shoots and Leaves”, done your homework, and think you are pretty good at this punctuation stuff. In addition, you are feeling pretty good about your grammar skills. Well, let’s see. You will be given three paragraphs to read and you will either correct or insert punctuation and grammar. The paragraphs reflect the beginner’s level, intermediate level and advanced level of grammar application. Good luck! And read carefully!

“Designing Flipcharts Successfully” Presenter: Janie Foster For newbie’s –or anyone else eager to fine tune their creative flipchart skills. Discover tips for making your sessions more stimulating and exciting, plus new ideas to keep your training fresh.

Super Personals Lois Lane: Looking for a strong sensitive man to be my hero. Mary Jane Watson: Wanted husband material, and is not afraid to kill bugs and spiders. Only serious men ready to settle down, please respond. Vicky Vale: Looking for the right man who isn’t so batty. General Steve Trevor Barnes: Looking for a woman beautiful as Aphrodite wise as Athena, strong but yet sensitive and faster than Mercury.

“Interpersonal Style: Personal Effectiveness” Presenter: Norma Resneder Thursday, September 15, 2005 As educator and facilitators we want our work to be valued by others. We take personal pride in ensuring that our work is additive to the tools and resources our clients need to be successful in their roles. Our interpersonal style is a critical component in the deployment of our best efforts. Relationship Awareness Theory suggests that our behavior is aimed at doing things that help us feel good about ourselves and what we do our motivational value system. Our session will examine different motivational value systems and their impact on the work you do. You’ll also receive individual feedback from someone who has completed the inventory on your behalf. This feedback allows you to learn how you may be seen in your interpersonal relations with others. Understanding the motivation behind your primary way of behaving as compared with the perception of others will give you some powerful insights to create win-win relationships.
