Testing the Temperature

Use an end paper Place between barrel

and shell Clamp closed for

several seconds Study paper for scorch

marks If scorched, allow iron

to cool before use on a client

Curling the Hair

Heat hair with the iron Slide iron gently up to

ends Secure ends between

barrel and shell Roll iron towards scalp
