Over the last 20 years, the Valencia Conference Centre has played host to 2,700 events, which have been attended by 2 million participants. Of these events, 800 were congresses and conventions, in which 543,000 delegates took part. These events have generated an economic impact of 1.1 billion for the city of Valencia.
In addition, the Valencia Conference Centre is firmly committed to sustainability. This has materialised in the Eco Project, the objective of which is to make event tourism compatible with respect for the environment, and in the venue’s photovoltaic roof, which is unique in a building of this type, and has already generated over 2,600,000 kWh of energy.
The Valencia Conference Centre, designed by the internationally renowned architect Norman Foster, and chosen as the World’s Best Convention Centre in 2018 and 2010, is Valencia’s leading congress and convention venue.
It combines a broad range of services with a whole host of versatile spaces, including three comfortable auditoria, seating 1,481, 467 and 272 people, respectively, eight breakout rooms, five multi-purpose rooms, a range of ancillary rooms and a 1,500m2 exhibition area with natural light and direct access to the auditoria and gardens. The venue is also easy to access and is just ten minutes from the city’s airport and from the high-speed train station, as well as being surrounded by hotels, with 1,000 hotel rooms within one or two minutes’ walking distance.
