Thebigkeytothethingisthatonlythesmallsecretsneedtobekept.Youcanfindjustaboutanythingthegovernmentisdoingbygoingintoscientificjournalsanddoingresearch.Butthebigsecretsarekeptbypublicincredulityandyourstudyandyourexperienceisinanareawhichisnotsecret.Allthishasbeenknownforalongtime,butpeopledon'twanttobelieveitandthereisagreatdealofdenial.

[Slide]Withtheevolutionofmancametheevolutionofscience,andhere'sanexampleofanearlytreatmentbytheforemostpractitionersof"mentalhealthscience".Thisisanetchingfrom1745.ItshowsawardinBethlehemHospitalinLondon.ItwaspronouncedBethlem,anditbecameBedlam,thefamoussynonymforthenuthouse.

[Slide]ApatientofBethlem,WilliamNorris,wasconfinedtherefor12years,boundbychainsafootlongandtoanironrodattheheadofhisbed.Hediedin1815.AnotherpatientatBethlem,whowedonothaveapictureofwasJamesTilleyMatthews.Hewasincarceratedtherefor35yearsandescapedonlybydeath,anditisaveryinterestingstory.Inthelate1700'shehadgonetoFranceasaspyfortheBritishAdmiralty,posingasanimport-exportagent.HetravelledinthehighestcirclesofFrenchsociety.ThingswentwrongforhimwhenhefellintothehandsofFranzAntonMesmer,thefatherofhypnotism.MesmerusedtoplayparlourgamesbyhavingaristocratsstandintubsofwaterwhileheplayedDCcurrentovertheirheads,towhatpurposewedon'tknow.

[Slide]Thismaybeoneofthefirstperpetratorsofmindcontrol...oneofthefoundersofourcountry...BenjaminFranklin.HewastheUSambassadortoFran

ceatthetime,andifyouremember,hewasthediscovererofelectricitywhichwasDCelectricity.Hediscovereditwhenheflewakiteonawireduringanelectricalstorm,anditwasashockingexperience.FranklinmayhaveusedthatlaterfortheeffectswenowknowDCcurrentgives.Itwillinduceamnesiaeasily.FranklinwasaskedbytheFrenchgovernmenttolookintotheactivitiesofMesmerandhisclaimsofmiraculouscureswithelectricity.Theyhititoffrealwell,butit'snotsurprising.Theywereboththebrothersofthesamesecretsociety...theMasons.FranklinfiledalengthyreportfavourabletoMesmertotheFrenchgovernment.AnotherbrotherMasonwhofrequentlyvisitedtheminPariswasAdamWeishaupt,thefounderoftheIlluminati.Thesecoincidencesbringalotofquestionstoyourmindaboutwhatweretheseguysreallydoingoverthere,andwhatdidtheyfindout?

Mesmerhappenedtobe,believeitornot,thegodfatherofAmadeusMozart.InfactheraisedMozart,andofcourseMozartwasthisincrediblegeniusmusicianandhisbiographywillshowyoumorethanoneobviousexampleofsomeonewhobehavesasifheweresufferingfromDissociativeIdentityDisorder.YoucanconcludethatmaybeMesmerplayedaroundtoenhancethemusicalabilitiesofMozartatthecostofotherpartsofhispersonality.

an"airloom"whichcouldweavethoughtsintoaman'smind.

[slide]Atthetopitsays"IllustrationsofMadness",that'sthenameofthebookwrittenbyJohnHaslam,theapothecary(inmodernterms,theresidentmedicalofficer)toBethlemHospitaltowardtheendofMatthews'stay.Inthefirstdecadeofthe19thcenturyHaslamwrotethiswholevolumecalled"IllustrationsofMadness"justsinglyontheMatthewscase.Itwaspublishedin1810.ItwasthefirstbooklengthcasestudyofasinglepatientinBritishpsychiatrichistory.AccordingtoRoyPorterwhorepackagedHaslam's1810book"IllustrationsofMadness"in1988...that'stheonlywayyouaregoingtofindit.Therearerarevolumes,youhavetopayatleast$40forausedcopy.

Becauseofthebook,Matthews'fatebecameacausecelebreeverywhere-inBritainandtheUnitedStates.ItwasusedagainstBethlemHospitalingeneral,andHaslaminparticular,ironically,whentheinstitutioncameunderscathingscrutinybyaHouseofCommonscommitteeinvestigatingmadhousesin1815.Afewyearsbeforethemadhouseera,therewereonlyafewpeopledeclaredinsane,butbythelate1700'sandtheearly1800's,therewerehundredsofthousandsofpeoplenowinthesemadhouses,so-called.WhileMatthewsisinterestingtousforotherreasons,hewasthecausecelebrethatcreatedsocialreforminthemadhousebusiness.

AccordingtoPorter,thesignificanceofhiscasewaswaybackabouttwohundredyearsago,hewasdescribingexperiencesthatmodernvictimsofmindcontrolar

enowdescribing,evenusingsomeofthesameterms.TodayMatthewswouldbediagnosedashaving"delusionaldisorder",andIthinkdelusionaldisorderisamisdiagnosisforawholelotofthings.Maybehewouldbediagnosedassufferingfromschizophreniaorparanoidschizophrenia,whichwenowknowisanextremelyraredisease.WhenIwrote"OperationMindControl"backin1978,therewereonly25MPDcasesdiagnosed,nowtherearehundredsofthousands.MostofthepeopleIwaswritingaboutwerecalledschizophrenicbythedoctors...andtheyweren't.Ofcourse,theywereD.I.D.

ADr.GeorgeBirkeckofLondonexaminedHasleminthosedays,andtestifiedbeforetheKing'sBenchthatafterpayingJamesTilleyMatthewssixvisitsatBethlemandhavingattempted"byeverymodeofexaminationwhichhecoulddevise"todiscovertherealstateofhismind,hesaidMatthewswasnotinsane.Matthewswa

stalkingaboutsuddendeathsqueezing,lobstercracking.HewasadmittedonJanuary28,1797toBethlemafterhehadbeenbehavingoddlyforquiteawhile,aboutayear,andamonghisstrangebehaviourwaswritingalettertohisbenefactor,LordLiverpool,whowasintheAdmiraltyandwaspartofthisintelligencescamthathewasinvolvedin,"IpronounceyourLordshiptobeineverysenseofthewordamostdiabolicaltraitorafteralonglifeofpoliticalandrealiniquityduringwhichyourLordship,byflatteringanddeceivingandmorethananyonecontributingtodeceiveyourKingwhobelievingyourhypocriticalprofessions,hastobethedetrimentofmanyofthecountry'sfriends,loadedyouwithhonoursandemollients.YouhavemadeyourselfaprincipalinschemesoftreasonsfoundeduponthemostextensiveintrigueswhichhavenotnotonlylongsincelaidthiscountryatthefeetofitsmostbitterenemieswhohaveassassinatedFrance,toreapfurtheradvantagesfromthosewhobysuchwickednessmightinsuchgenera

Butheistalkingaboutthought-making.Haslam,thedoctorwhotreatedhim,said,"Inthissituationhecontinuedformanyyears,sometimesanautomaton,movedbytheagenciesofpersonshereaftertobeintroducedtothenoticeofthereader."Andofcoursehetalkedaboutspies,thugsandassassinswhowereputtingvoicesinhisheadandcontrollinghim.MatthewsinsistedthatinsomeapartmentnearLondonWallthereisa"gangofvillains,profoundlyskilledinpneumaticch

emistrywhoassailhimbymeansofanairloom."Ofavarietyoftortureshedescribedsocolourfully,were"fluidlocking,cuttingsoulfromsense,stonemaking,thightalking,kitinginvolvingmagneticimpregnations...suddendeathsqueezing,lobstercrackingcausedbypressurefromthe'magneticatmospheresurroundingthepersonsassailed',apoplexyworkingwithanutmeggrater,lengtheningthebrain,thought-makingwhileoneofthesevillainsissuckingatthebrainofthepersonassailedtodistracthisexistingsentiments,anotherofthegangwillforceintohismindatrainofideasverydifferentfromtherealsubjectofhisthoughtsinwhichissqueezeduponasthedesiredinformationbythepersonsucking.""Laughter-making,poking,pushingupthequicksilver,bladderfilling,tyingdown,bombbursting,gasplucking(theextractionofmagneticfluidfromapersonassailed),footcurving,lethargy-making,sparkexploding,kneenailing,burningout,eyescrewing,sightstopping,roofstringing,vitaltearing,fibrerippingbrainsayings..."andotherdescriptionsofphysicalandpsychologicaltorturescausedbysomeinvisiblemeanswhichMatthewsputintothehightechtermsofhisday.

Now,thisisverysimilartowhatpeoplearedescribingtoday.Thisisthewayhedrewalayoutofthewayhewasassailedandinterrogatedbythese17thCenturyassassinsandhesaidthatapneumaticmachine[slide]thisisasketchhemadeofit...wasused,thiswasthehightechnologythatwasdoingallthis.Ifyouareinterestedinthis,trytofindthebook,youmayhavetodoasearchforit.ButtheEMtargetedvictimsoftodayarenotsoundingmuchdifferentthanthat.Thisguyisprettycolourfulandofcoursethelanguageisveryarcane.

Matthews...hewasthefirst.Itwas200yearsago.Heisthefirstsinglecaseeverchronicledinthepsychiatricliteraturethatweknowof.Thisisnothingnew.CoulditbethatFranklinandthoseotherguyscameupwithsomethingthattheyreallydiduse,becausethat'swhatMatthewsclaims.Todaywehavethecategory,andIdon'tlikethetermbutitisused,"Wavies"--thosearepeoplewhoaretargetsofelectromagneticwavesofsomekind,orIprefertheterm"EMtargetedindividuals".Someofthesepeopleclaimtobealienabducteesorgovernmentmindcontrolvictims,orsatanicabusedpeople.ThereisnothinginMatthews'descriptionthatthesegroupsofpeoplehaven'talsodescribedexperiencing.

Thenyouhavetoask,doingwhatIdidfor20years,hearingallthesestories,youaregatheringprobablythelargestdatabase...usinga27pagequestionnai

re,Iamlookingformindcontrolvictimsandofcourseourquestionnaireisonmindcontrol-butitkindofgivesyouanindicationofeverythingelse,includingthealienabductionscenariowhichisverypeculiar,veryunusual.Wehavethelargestdatabase...andafteryouhearthis,yousay,"coulditbethatthesedelusions,iftheyaredelusions-doweasaspecieslacksuchimaginationastokeepcomingupwiththesamethingoverandoverfor200years?"Can'twegobeyondthis?Shouldn'tmadnessbereally'outthere'?Butsomethingishappeninghere.Thereisapatterntothis,andyouhearpeoplewhodon'tknoweachother,havehadnocontactwiththisthingatall,whoneverreadabookonit,sayingthesamething.Isitdownwithsomesurvivorswhohaveexperiencedtraumaabuseandtraumabasedprogrammingandcomparenotes,itwillbethesame.Anditrunstrue.

Thisislater.Thisisnowtheearly19thcentury[slide]--we'vegottheLaveryElectricPhrenometer-itwasthehightechofitsday,intendedtoaccuratelymeasurethebumpsonyourheadandsopredictthenature,typeandbehaviourofindividualswhowouldholdstillforit.Anditwastakenveryseriouslyforawhile,untilsomebodysaid,"hey,there'snodatabaseforthis,youknow?"

[slide]Early20thcentury-"MentalPoisoning",itwasapopularbookwrittenbyapsychologistintheearlydayswhenpeoplewerehearingvoices,mentalpoisoning.Andthenwegotmorescientific-thisisanobsoleteversionofColinRoss'sbook-hemadeacontributiontothefieldbydoingthatresearch.Buthere

wegointhe1920'sor30's-everybodywashearingvoices,everybody,andallyouhadtodowasturnonaradio.Therewasnoneedforimplantedelectrodestocontrolyourbehaviour.

[slide]Here'saNazirallyinpre-warGermany.StudentsofMarshallMcLuhanwilltellyouhowradiocreatedNazism,theblitzkreig,andmassobediencelikenothingbeforeit.Asonepsychoscientistputit,"thestentorianvoicesofthemassmediaaremoreuniversallypowerfulthantheindiscriminatepersuasionsofanymindalteringdrug."Mostofthesurvivorsinthisroomprobablydon'twatchalotoftelevision,right?Doesanybodywanttoconfess?Okay.(Neverownedone?Yes.)

It'scalledtheMengeleAwardafterJosefMengele,thisguyhere.That'sJoe,andhewasoneofthemindcontrolmen,youknow,fromtheubermentsch...there's

nothinglikeopeningaskullandlettingyourbarefingersrunthroughsomeone'sbrainorfreezinghumanbeingstonearthepointofdeathandthenfindingoutthroughtrialanderrorthattheeasiestwaytodefrostsomeoneistoputthemclosetoanothernakedhumanbody.Andthesearejustafewofthebrutalexperiments,thoughsomeofthatwasvaluableforhypothermia...alloftherecordsofwhatJoeMengeledidinNaziconcentrationcamps,andalloftherecordsofhisresearcharenowonfileattheNationalArchives.Weshouldprobablygetthemall-Ithinksomeofthemarestillclassified.Butthesearethepeopleheisworkingon-thesearehissubjects.OfcourseMengelewasfascinatedbygenetics.Ihaven'treallyaddressedgeneticsandmostsurvivorsrealizethatitismultigenerational,mostsonsanddaughtersofMasonsrealizethatispartoftheMasonicbeliefisthatifyouprogramorifyoutrainoreducateorwhateverthewordis,apersonovertwoorthreegenerationstheknowledgebeginstobetrue

Therearesomanydoctors-IguessColinRossiswritingabookaboutit-he'sfollowinguponsomeofourresearchthatwedid25yearsago.He'sgottenthepapersofDr.EstabrooksandEstabrooksknewMiltonErickson,whoIthinkwasagreatguymyself,buthedidworkforthegovernment,andtheyallkneweachotherandEwenCameroncomesin,itwasaWho'sWhoofeverybodywhoworkedinthepsychiatricmentalhealthprofessionofthatparticulargeneration,myfather'sgeneration.

Sociologistsaswell,it'sbeengoingonforfiftyyears.GuyslikeRobertJ.Liftonwhoisthoughtofveryhighly,workedwithDr.JohnMack,thealienguy,theUFOguy.Theyhadapartnership-theyworkedinalittlecompanythatwasfundedbytheCIAMKULTRAproject.Andinnationalmentalhealth,alltheuniversitieswereused-youknowthestory-andOperationMindControlgivesyouabiglistonallthisstuff.Imean,it'sjustscratchingthesurface.

AndIhearsomeofyougaspatsomeofthisstuff.HaveyoureadLifton'sbook,

"TheNaziDoctors"?That'saprettyinterestingstudyofhow-ittakesuptheobediencetoauthoritykindofthing,howpeoplecanbemadetodothingstheywouldn'tordinarilydo.Lestyougasprepeatedlythroughoutthispresentation,letmegeneralize.Virtuallyeverypsychologist,psychiatrist,sociologist,cyberneticist,andsoonofthatgenerationprevioustomine,werefundedeitherwittinglyorunwittinglybytheCIA.TheCIAthroughanumberofcutoutorganizationsco-optedtheentirementalhealthprofessionandputittoworkonmindcontrol.It'sahardthingfindingpeoplethataren'tpartofthegame,youknow,partofthebadguys.

AfewyearsaftertheendofWWII,abouttheCIAwasbeingfounded,andoneoftheirfirstconcernsin1947-theSovietsengineeredashowtrialagainstRomanCatholicCardinalMinzentewhoappearedbeforeakangaroocourtinatranceand

confessedtoeverythinghewasaccusedofwhichafewyearslaterhecouldn'tremember.TheCIAlookedintothisandtheysaid"ohthey'vegotsomethingwedon'thave,andweneedthis".We'dbetterlookintothis.Itwasafledglingagencyinthosedays.We'recelebratingits50thanniversaryandIgotabigkickoutofGeorgeBushstandingupnexttoRichardHelms,whowenttojailandwasconvictedoflyingtoCongress,hewastheDirectoroftheCIA,andNixonwassingingthisman'spraises,sayingwhatagreatpatriothewas.Ifyouareapatriot,youlietoeverybody,youlietoyourcountry.That'showfarourmoralsandethicshavefallen.
