2020 State CX Parking Information BE ON TIME Traffic in Austin is heavy. Allow sufficient time to park and get to the University Teaching Center (UTC) for roll call. If you arrive close to the start time for roll call, you should drop your students off to answer roll while you park.

Unloading for the University Teaching Center Turn onto University Ave. from Martin Luther King (MLK) and drop students off on the corner of 21st and University Ave. DO NOT turn right as the street does not go thru. DO NOT leave your vehicle unattended. Since there will be other vehicles waiting to unload, disembark as quickly as possible to keep everything running smoothly. The UTC is located 1 block east of this drop off and is NOT accessible to buses.

DOBIE MALL GARAGE PAID PARKING Parking is available in the Dobie Mall Garage (northeast corner of 20th & Whitis).

BRAZOS GARAGE / TRINITY GARAGE Parking in the Brazos Garage is on a self-pay space available basis. In the event that the Brazos Garage becomes full, the Trinity Garage may be used. The parking fee is based on the amount of time your car is in the garage and varies from $3-$18. If you leave the garage and return, you will have to pay an additional fee. Brazos Garage is located at 210 East MLK Blvd. From I-35, turn onto MLK (Martin Luther King) and then make a right on Brazos. Trinity Garage is located at 1815 Trinity Street. This garage is located on the corner of MLK (Martin Luther King) and Trinity.

PAY PARKING LOTS There are several pay parking lots within the vicinity of University Teaching Center. In addition to daily rates, some of these lots also have hourly rates and/or discounted prices for evening hours. Prices range $5 to $10 per day. Please check all signs carefully before parking in any of these lots and read the time your parking expires on the ticket for your window. Prices are subject to change without notice, so be sure to read the signs before you park your car.

BE AWARE! The League is not responsible for any tickets issued for illegal parking. Vehicles left in a towing zone or without payment or expired time in a pay lot will be towed. Vehicles parked in spaces labeled “University Vehicles,” “F At All Times,” and “Handicapped” will be towed. Vehicles parked in reserved A, F, G, D, O, K, or “Reserved At All Times” spaces will be ticketed and/or towed. School vans/cars cannot park in handicapped spaces beside University Teaching Center and Graduate School of Business. These require UT issued permits.
