ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NURSING

Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, part of the State University of New York

(SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a full-time, tenure track Nursing Faculty position starting

Fall 2012. The successful candidate will be part of a team working with Freshman and Senior Nursing

students, responsible for teaching in both the day and weekend programs.

Required: A Master’s degree in Nursing, recent clinical experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health

Nursing and /or Maternity, NYS RN license; strong communication skills; and ability to work with

diverse students.

Preferred: Teaching experience; ability to integrate technology into teaching/learning process.
