ALL ABOUT BAKING SODA• Old porous tubs and sinks clean really well with a paste

of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, or baking soda and ammonia. Let the paste sit for a while before rubbing.

• To get rid of the hard water buildup in old shower heads, soak it inside a strong, larger size sandwich bag filled with ¼ cup baking soda and 1 cup of vinegar. Seal and let it cook for an hour or so.

• Fiberglass shower walls can be cleaned of hard water spots, mildew and rust stains with virtually no scratching using baking soda sprinkled on a wet sponge. Clean tiled surfaces the same way. Rinse and dry.

• To clean shower doors, spray with vinegar. Let it set for a few minutes and follow it up by scouring with baking soda sprinkled on a wet sponge. Rinse and dry.
