1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT

"Go Blogging.com using PHP"

2. PROBLEM DEFINITION

2.1 INTRODUCTION OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

The project is helpful for sharing knowledge with the world where you can make your

presence on the World Wide Web through the blogs. Basically a log diary where admin and

other users can talk about anything. In general, a place which is a pool of stories and

snippets where millions of people can find the information, can see it online and download

it .

Blog will be maintained by the admin where he can post the articles ,on the basis of critics

will be judged whether the article is correct or not ,if the article is approved then at last it

will be published on the blog. Users can provide feedbacks\comments and the necessary

information. Rating will also be done by the users. Articles can be viewed online and also

can be downloaded by the user. Some articles are paid and some are unpaid. Users can

download paid articles by registering themselves and by paying the required amount.

2.2 MODULES TO BE IMPLEMENTED

1. Login - This module allows the user to log in with the unique username and password

provided.

2. Registration –In this module user’s registration will be done which is needed to

submit and download the articles.

3. Article review- This module will be handled by the admin. He will check the articles

if the article is correct then, it will be approved and will be uploaded on the site. And

if not approved, the article will be rejected.

4. Submit articles: users will submit the articles on the basis of two category IT and

BUSINESS.

5. Comment& Rating - In this module user will comment on the articles and will give

the ratings on the article.

6. View articles – In this module users can see the articles online posted by other users.

7. Download Articles& Payment – In this module users can download the articles. This

process takes in all the essential details of the user that are required to make the

payment (for paid articles).

3. OBJECTIVES & SCOPE

3.1 OBJECTIVE

The objective of the project "Go Blogging.com" is to develop a software users can view

different types of information in form of articles and also download the contents of their

like.

The objective of this project is:

1. T o provide users with an online article diary where they can get the huge content in

precise manner.

2. Users come across many new things and perspectives by reading the views of many

other visitors to the site

3. Beneficial in the field of education and research.

Go Blogging allows visitors and registered users to explore things and gain more

knowledge about how things work.

3.2 SCOPE

It enables continuous interaction between people through posting, rating and

commenting on articles. So it provides multiple different views on the topic.

Go Blogging is useful for viewing and searching articles online.

Users can log in on daily basis to discover and learn new things.

Users can download the articles online.

It provides users to get their article recognized and appreciated widely.

4. METHODOLOGY

4.1 DATA COLLECTION

4.1.1 PRIMARY DATA COLLECTION

Interview

The faculty of the college INSTITITE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND

MANAGEMENT were interviewed .In a set of interviews with teachers the following

questions have been asked to them:

a) Does the current criterion of getting information manually meet your expectations?

b) Whether the faculty members were more comfortable in publishing article manually or

online?

c) Is there a particular information u search on the regular basis?

From the above interview, I got to know:

Online blog will bring a big difference to search for the correct information in a quick and

precise manner because articles will be divided into different categories unlike in manual

systems where, users have to first purchase the books of different authors to get the

information. They all were more comfortable in publishing articles online because it can be

widely recognized and appreciable by the different people. Users can get the maximum

comments and critics on their articles so that can improve their mistakes.

Because there was manual system existed so we decided to move on to the online facility for

viewing, publishing and downloading articles.
