EMCEE: Welcome to the 2017 USA National Miss Georgia and

Southern States pageant, I’m ______________. Today we will

showcase some of Georgia’s finest as they compete for the chance to

represent Georgia and the Southern States at the UNM national finals in

Florida next summer. In addition, we will crown our first ever Georgia

Sweetheart titleholders. But first, please rise as we honor America with

the singing of the national anthem by USA National Princess, Georgia’s

own, Reagan Rhodes.

EMCEE: That was beautiful, Reagan! I would like to remind the

audience that we do not allow photography or video during the show.

And now, representing 51 communities and counties, please welcome

our state finalists as we kick off the highly anticipated USA National

Miss Georgia and Southern States pageant.

EMCEE: The lucky girls who will be crowned our Georgia and

Southern States winners tonight will not only win the beautiful state

crown and one of the most coveted titles in pageantry, they will also win

a pretty impressive prize package plus the opportunity to advance to the

USA National Miss national finals in Disney World where they will

compete for thousands of dollars in scholarship money to further their

education, an extremely impressive prize package and also the

opportunity to receive full ride college scholarships!

EMCEE: While our delegates get ready for the runway portion of

today’s competition, let’s meet our distinguished panel of judges, who

have the tough task of selecting our winners.

have some very special guests in the house tonight, if you are a visiting

queen please rise so that we can welcome you with a round of applause.

EMCEE: And now it’s time to move on to the competition. The judges

have a hard decision to make today, and have already met all of our

delegates in interview. The delegates will now wow the judges in their

runway outfit of choice. If the judges are ready, let’s begin our runway

EMCEE: Weren’t they beautiful? They are all just as beautiful on the

inside as they are on the outside, and that’s not just a saying! These

young women worked hard to bring much needed donated items this

weekend for StreetWise ministry.

EMCEE: StreetWise feeds and clothes the needy and homeless

throughout metro Atlanta. Our delegates participated in a Stuff the Bus

service project yesterday after collecting coats, scarves, gloves and other

cold weather items to keep the needy warm this winter. Let’s give them

all another round of applause!

EMCEE: As they go change into their evening gowns, let’s take a
