HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH TWENTY-SECOND SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME SEPTEMBER 3, 2017 Pastors Corner………. .The Gospel of today tells us that the cross or suffering has a place in our life. Jesus says that he is about to go to Jerusalem to suffer and to die. But Peter, his disciple, does not want to accept it. He wishes Jesus to have nothing to do with suffer- ing. Jesus tells Peter that,You are not thinking as God does”. Jesus insists that those who are to become his disciples must accept cross and suffering as their lot. It means cross and suf- fering are part and parcel of our life. We must see it as plan of God and cannot be in a denying mood. Fr. Mathew Kavipurayidam, TOR.
