LCT COMMUNICATION INTERFACECOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE LCT AND THE PASOLINK NEO IS VIA THE LCT PORT OF THE CTRL MODULE. THE LCT AND THE CTRL MODULE MOUNTED ON THE PASOLINK NEO MUST BE CONNECTED USING A USB A-B TYPE CABLE. TYPE-B CONNECTS TO THE LCT PORT.LCT PC SPECIFICATION CPU RAM HDD DISPLAY PENTIUM-M 1.6GHz OR BETTER 512MB OR MORE 100 MB OR MORE FREE CAPACITY COLOR LCD (1024x768)

CD ROM DRIVE/USB-PORT / USB CABLE WITH USBB CONNECTOR

There are two types of LCT version corresponding to the IDU F/W version installed. LCT WEB applet Version 1.(Rev 1.xx.xx) is installed in the IDU and the LCT WEB Version (Rev 2.xx.xx) is installed in the PC.IDU AND LCT COMPATIBILITY LCT: 1.xx.xx CTRL: 2.xx.xx CTRL: 3.xx.xx (Open Browser and input URL) INCOMPATIBLE Please change LCT LCT: 2.xx.xx (Open Browser and input URL) (Open Application on LCT)

PROVISIONING STM-1 SETTING

MS-AIS GENERATION SETTING IS USED TO STOP SENDING MS-AIS SIGNAL DUE TO RADIO LINK OR EQUIPMENT FAILURE. WHEN DISABLED:- DURING FAILURE OPTICAL INTFC WILL STOP TRANSMITTING THE OPTICAL SIGNAL, ELECTRICAL INTFC WILL SEND UNFRAMED AIS. WHEN ENABLED:- SEND MS-AIS DUE TO RADIO LINK OR EQUIPMENT FAILURE.

AUTOMATIC LASER SHUT DOWN (ALS) FUNCTION IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR OPTICAL INTFC . DURING LOS OF SIGNAL AT THE INPUT OF THE OPTICAL INTFC IT WILL CUT THE LASER OUTPUT FROM THE OUTPUT OF THE OPTICAL INTFC. DURING THIS TIME AT DEFINED INTERVALS INTFC WILL OUTPUT A 2 SEC LASER PULSE. SELECT ENABLE OR DISABLE FROM THE ALS FUNCTION RADIO BUTTON IF ENABLE IS SELECTED, SELECT ALS INTERVAL FROM 60, 180, AND 300 SEC .

AFTER SETTING THE PROVISIONING ITEMS CLICK THE SET BUTTON TO APPLY THE PROVISIONING SETTING.

PROVISIONING - APSTHIS MENU ITEM APPEARS WHEN APS FUNCTION AVAILABLE, IS SET IN THE SETUP CONFIGURATION. OPTICAL INTFC SHOULD BE MOUNTED IN MAIN & SUB SLOTS APS MAINTENANCE MODE: MANUAL: WHEN SWITCHING MANUALLY UNDER MAINTENANCE MODE, PREVENT SWITCHING TO AN ALARMED INTFC (ROUTE) FORCED: WHEN SWITCHING MANUALLY UNDER MAINTENANCE MODE, FORCIBLY SWITCH TO THE SELECTED INTFC DISREGARDING ITS ALARM STATUS ( THIS MAY INTERRUPT TRAFFIC)

APS CONDITION SF (PROT) APPLIES WHEN FORCED MANUAL SWITCHOVER TO PROTECTION INTFC IS MADE PRIORITY HIGH: WHEN SIGNAL FAIL (SF) OCCURS IN THE PROTECTION INTFC, KEEPS THE ONLINE, ON WORK INTFC PRIORITY LOW: IGNORE THE SIGNAL FAIL CONDITION IN FORCED MANUAL, SWITCHOVER TO PROT INTFC APS CONDITION SD (B1) INCLUDE SD: SELECT THIS TO CONSIDER STM-1 SIGNAL DEGRADE (SD) AS A CONDITION FOR APS SWITCHING EXCLUDE SD: SELECT THIS TO EXCLUDE STM-1 SIGNAL DEGRADE (SD) AS A CONDITION FOR APS SWITCHING LOCK IN USAGE USED: WHEN FREQUENT SWITCHING OCCURS BETWEEN WORK & PROT, PAUSE SWITCHOVER UNTIL CONDITIONS SET IN LOCK IN COUNT, LOCK IN DETECT TIME & LOCK IN HOLD TIME ARE MET NOT USED: ALLOW FREQUENT SWITCH OVER BETWEEN WORK & PROT INTFC.

AUXILIARY I/O

INPUT: HOUSE KEEPING ALM INPUT CAN BE MONITORED ONLY FROM LCT.PNMx Inputs 3, 4, 5 and 6 are common to HK alarm input and Cluster alarm input. When Cluster alarms are enabled in Provisioning it cannot be used for HK ALM Input

CLUSTER ALM INPUTS CAN BE TAKEN OUT FROM THE OPPOSITE STATION CLUSTER ALM OUT RELAY.

OUTPUT: Outputs 1, 2, 3 and 4 are common to both HK Controls and Cluster Alarm outputs. Only one type should be assigned to each output.

Close: Indicate HK ALM input condition CLICK SET TO SEND SELECTED CONTROL SIGNAL Close: Indicate HK control sent out

Click on the arrow and select Open or Close to send a Control signal and click the SET Button

Shading indicates HK controls are not assigned
