    To promote and suggest a plan for quality improvement of transplant care at one’s own transplant unit

    To facilitate best practice exchange within transplant nursing

    To present a strategy for medical andpsychosocial screening of a possible candidate for donation and preparing for living liver kidney/bone marrow donation and follow up after donation

    To promote leadership in transplant nursing

    The training program covers the fundamental aspects of organ (kidney and liver) transplantation enabling participants to acquire a wide knowledge and skills on the following topics:

    Fundamental issues in organ living and post mortal organ donation and transplantationEthics, legal, organizational and religious aspects of transplantation

    Scope and standards of transplant nursingImmunosuppressive medication and side e�ects (like diabetes, cancer, hypertension)

    Caring for the kidney transplant recipientsCaring for the liver transplant recipientsand paired donation

    Caring for the kidney living donor

    Caring for the liver living donor

    Caring for the bone marrow transplant recipients

    The psychosocial issues in transplantation

    Health education and health improv ment in transplant recipients - long-term care

    The perioperative management of pediat-ric transplant recipients

    Transplant nurses involved in organtransplantation, particularly those working in referral units such as: emergency department, intensive care units, postoperative recovery, postoperative surgery clinics and transplantations units for long term monitor and care

    Transplant nurses wishing to update their knowledge and reinforce their skills.
