The name of my monument is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It is located in Washington, DC. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was built to honor the soldiers that died during wars. It is next to Lincoln’s Memorial . the statue is based on Joe Rosenthal`s Pulitzer prize wining photograph of five marines and a navy corpsman raising an American flag suribachion mount during the battle of Iwo Jima. The name of our monument is the Lincoln Memorial. It is located in Washington D.C. The monument honors Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln Memorial was dedicated in 1992.It is made of marble from Colorado. Inside the monument is a 19-foot statue of Abraham Lincoln.
