The largest manufacturer in Germany, RWE SCHOTT Solar is constantly building on its market leadership position.The latest production processes for wafers, cells and modules achieve a capacity of 80 MWp.

The forward-looking and internationally patented edge-defined film growth (EFG) process for manu-facturing the wafers saves raw materials and energy. Compared to conventional processes in which the cells are cut from the block of crystal with high wastage, in the EFG process wafers can be pulled from the melt with zero losses.

RWE SCHOTT Solar modules have been developed and optimised for universal use in solar power systems to feed electricity into the grid or to charge batteries. The modules are produced to the highest quality standards.
