History

• Mar. 1949 : Launched as National Officials Training Institute

• Oct. 1961 : Expanded and reorganized as the Central Officials Training Institute

• July 1971 : Designated the head of the Institute as Vice-minister class

• Dec. 1981 : Moved to its Present location at the Gwacheon Campus
