What we are offerring

SP-Pro® : proprietary conversion tool; Patent pending R&D team to lead the 3D evolution. Experienced International Project Management & System. Best in field graphic artists and programmers in Korea. Highest Standard Security Systems to protect client IP.

Patent pending Software and Engine1. INPUT- 2D file is uploaded for conversion process. 2. OUTLINE – Objects and backgrounds are outlined. Manually, every object

is differentiated and allocated a cubic value. Relational depth values

between outlined objects are also established. Connected by nodal points. 3. MAP – 2D image layer is combined with the differentiated layer to form a

new 3-dimensional vector map.4. CUBIC DEPTH VALUE – Individual objects are assigned depth values at the pixel level. 5. INTERPOLATION – Automated algorithmic process. Individual pixels are activated through automation, and follow the cubic values of the map

created in step 36. LEFT EYE IMAGE – Through rotation the Left Eye Image is generated in proportion with the Right Eye Image at the pixel level.7. 3D OUTPUT – New Left Eye image is combined with Right Eye Image to

create a new 3D output image.

The Unique Features of the Work Process

Single working layer:objects within a frame are individually controllable. Each object is individually allocated a Cubic Value. Maximal Creative Support: Creative decision making is possible throughout the workflow, without being

cost-prohibitive.

Work is processed holistically- single onscreen image

Complicated shots use many other interconnect layers of

images.

Use many folds of layers that are combined.

We can delineate backgrounds and objects and then process them individually.– When choosing backgrounds and objects, no secondary procedures are necessary.– Extracting objects requires the most manpower. Simplicity of this process, however, allows the use of semi-skilled manpower. – No limitations on the number of objects that can be extracted. Even raindrops can be given a three-

dimensional effect.– Objects which undergo distortion when shot in 3D cameras such as translucent glass, puddle, fire, smog,

can be easily three-dimensionalized.

SWAGG MEDIA Company “C”

Objects can be treated independently from one another

Each object is connected to a net. Grid dependent.

Workflow system on single onscreen display Complex shots require multiple subordinate layers.

Manipulation of one object does not alter the whole operation

Interlinking of objects requires redundancy of whole operation.

Complicated shot? Simple solutions.

Raindrops? Simple solutions.

Complicated shots need complicated operations.

Longer edit time.

Extreme difficulty in treating debris or raindrops leads

to

compromised quality.

Fast moving objects? Simple solutions. Extreme difficulty in treating moving/rolling objects.

Three-dimensional effect can be given independently to backgrounds and objects in scene. – Background perspective. The flatness of background in wide shots or long lens shots can be given a

deep 3D depth. – Location of objects. Precise allocation of cubic values and depth calibration create real effects. – The volume of objects. Uniquely extrinsic qualities of objects are preserved. A map graphing depth values enables our precise work. Editing and revisions are easy. – Edits by directors and vfx team can begin after a first pass.– Edits and revisions do not affect whole scenes. Objects can be isolated for edits or retouches.

SWAGG MEDIA Company “C”

Edit is simple. Edits require alteration of entire scene.

Editing complex shots is also easy.Complex shots need the entire shot edited.

Level of difficulty : High

Free to copy/move each object in scene. In grid-based system, movement and

duplication are dependent on correspondence of both horizontal and vertical lines.

Possible to adjust each object’s height/width/position

Impossible

Our process involves initial separation of objects and backgrounds– If background is shot in advance, it is very easy to create film for the left eye for scenes where the

background remains the same.– Scenes shot with blue screen are easy to produce for the left eye.– If there is no movement in background and objects, we can use previous shot’s map as is.– To produce higher quality work and to plan a smoother workflow, inDSP prefers to become involved

at the beginning of production.

SWAGG MEDIA Company “C”

Separation background and objects is key to inDSP’s workflow.

Extreme difficulty. Complicated shots need multiple subordinate

layers in order to make an accurate background.

Page 11: 2 D3 D Concersion Swaggmedia

Easy to improve the software since it is an Object-based system.– Easy to be automated.

Object tracing feature is strong on moving objects like an arrow. After left eye picture is created, background search and auto-fill features can be readily used.

– InDSP is continuing to develop the program’s automation features.

SWAGG MEDIA Company “C”

Easy to be automated Difficult to be automated

An automated system for filling empty spaces after

Object is moved out is in development. Automation system: impossible

Object tracing feature It is possible to trace object only if there is

correspondence between horizontal and vertical lines.

SWAGG MEDIA’s Competitive Advantage

Converting a 100 minute film is a massive undertaking that requires the management of hundreds of

employees. Strong top to bottom structural organization and business management are keys to success.

Overseas experiences of board of directors– Ran a factory in Yanbian, China, with over 100 employees– Managed business locations in Laos– Exploring business expansion in China and Laos.

Major company working experiences of board of directors. – Board of Director members have experience working at Korea’s largest corporations.– Plans in place for hiring and training manpower, including assistance from the

government of Korea.

Over 20 years of combined experience in project management. – ITrelated projects.– Track record of cutting production period from 5 days into 1.5 days by applying TOC

and cell producing method in Yanbian, China.
