Presentation
The Conference will be held at Paraninfo UPV-EHU of Bilbao on 26th and 27th October 2011. It is addresed to utilities, research institutes, electrical equipment manufacturers, universi-ties and electrical sector associations.
The global aim of the Conference is to facilita-te an international forum in which experts and researchers from different countries could ex-change ideas and discuss on the state of the art and recent progress in the power sector.
At the end of the Conference it will take place the Spanish Regional Workshop of ADDRESS project that aims to make the Active Demand possible in the context of the intelligent networ-ks of the future.

ADDRESS, Spanish Regional WorkshopADDRESS stands for “Active Distribution network with full integration of Demand and distributed energy RESourceS” and its target is to enable the Active Demand in the context of the smart grids of the future. It is a 4 years project ca-rried out in the frame of FP7 by a Consortium of 25 partners from 11 European countries.

General information
Place and datesThe conference will be held at Paraninfo of UPV-EHU (Avda. Abandoibarra, 3) in Bilbao on 26th and 27th October 2011.
Attendees may easily reach the Paraninfo walking from the recommended hotels in Bilbao (15-20 mi-nutes). Public tranport: tram (stop Abandoibarra) and Metro (stop Moyúa). There is a parking near the Paraninfo: Plaza de Euskadi
LanguagesThe papers included in the Conference Proceedings, will be written either in Spanish or English. The pre-sentations will be held in one of these languages. Si-multaneous translation Spanish-English and English-Spanish will be provided.
Attendance CertificateThe participants to the Conference, on request, will be awarded with an Attendance Certificate.
DinnerThe attendees to the conference are encouraged to join in a dinner on October 26. Those who want to assist are requested to indicate it in the moment of the inscription. Accompanying persons are also wel-comed.
ADDRESS Spanish Regional Workshop The assistance to this session is free, but it is neces-sary to register. The access and the registration will be opened on October 27th at 15:30.

The assistance fee for the two-day Conference is 540 € +18% VAT. This fee includes the assistance to all the sessions, Conference proceedings, simultaneous translation, working lunches and coffees.
