Weekend rates: (Friday & Saturday & Public Holidays) R 1250 pp sharing DB&B R 1500 single DB&B Getting there: Upon booking full instructions will be sent to clients with directions to get to us. There is some travelling on a dirt road and the last part to camp on sandy roads, but 4x4 is not necessary, even though we do recommend a vehicle with high ground clearance. Instructions to be given re deflating tyres as per notice on the gate to preserve the road surface and make it easy for other guests after your visit. If you do not have a vehicle with good ground clearance you can still visit us – we will park your vehicle at the gate and transfer, you in from there.
The Tents: Our canvas safari lodge type tents are spacious and practical for the coastal setting. Each tent sleeps 2 people in twin beds. The tents are furnished with proper beds, coil mattresses, comfy duvets and blankets. Additional furnishings include 2 x camping chairs, bed side table, cupboard, solar light and camping lamp. Each tent has its own private hot shower cubicle with a chemical toilet and a basin (Soap, shampoo and towels provided.) The showers are bucket showers to save water in this water scarce area. Your shower will be brought to your ablution at your convenience. A turn down service is provided with hot water bottles for the cool west coast evenings.

www.remotelocations.co.za The Food: Breakfast and dinner is included in our rate and is served buffet style in our dining tent that overlooks the ocean. Breakfasts consists of a continental and cooked breakfast served with fruit juice and coffee or tea. Breakfast is at 8 am. Dinners are 3 courses with a starter, main meal and dessert. If the ocean allows we serve fresh mussels too. Dinner is served between 7and 8 pm every evening. Please notify us upon booking regarding any dietary requirements.
The Bar: Wines, beers and spirits are available in our bar and lounge area underneath a Bedouin tent next to the ocean with a fire pit set up out front. Guests will not be allowed to consume their own alcohol in the common areas – a corkage charge will apply for wine / champagne brought in.
Child Policy: Children will be permitted at the camp on the following conditions: • Parents take full responsibility for children at all times. • No babysitting facilities are on offer • Children under the age of 18 to share with parents in their tent if they are to pay the reduced rates. • Children 0 – 6 years: no children under 6 years • Children 6 – 12 years: R 500 per child per night – dinner and breakfast • Children 13 – 18 years: R 550 per child per night – dinner and breakfast • Maximum of 1 child to share with parents. • Children occupying their own tent are to pay full adult rate.
Check in and out times: Check in time is strictly from 14h00 onward – it is recommended to arrive by 5pm in time for the sunset. It is not ideal to arrive after dark. Check out time is strictly 10 am WIFI and cell phone reception: There is no WIFI available at our camp as the whole concept is to get away from it all, cell phone reception is limited as the signal in camp is poor. Power supply: We always try to run our camps as eco-friendly as possible and therefore we run our fridges and freezers on solar power, and wherever possible everything else. There are no power points in our tents, but a charging station is provided in our bar area where devices can be recharged if necessary. Drinking water: Our camp’s water is replenished regularly from a safe source on a nearby farm using a borehole. You are more than welcome to bring your own water if you prefer.
