What is it?
•Planometric projection is a form of pictorial drawing used by architects.
•It is like isometrics, however, unlike isometrics it gives a clearer picture of the object.
•Planometric drawings allow the viewer to see the objects as if they were looking form above.
How do you draw a planometric view?
•Planometric views are drawn starting with a plan of the view drawn at 30º/60º, 45º/ 45º, or
60º/ 30º to the horizontal.
•All vertical edges remain vertical.
•All measurements both vertical and on the base are true
