Jessica Soho: Magandang gabi na, mga kapuso. Narito pa rin po tayo live mula sa Capitol University saCagayan de Oro City para sa huling bahagi na po ng ating PiliPinas Debates 2016. Kasama pa rin ponatin lahat ng ating mga kandidato sa pagka-pangulo.

Mike Enriquez: Mga kapuso, nito pong nakaraang Linggo, nagpunta po kami sa Bayan ng Pikit sa NorthCotabato dito sa Mindanao. Nakilala po naming ang isang estudyante sa Grade-5 na nakikita niyo riyan.Si Nornisa po ‘yan. Nalungkot po – malungkot po ang kwento niyang si Nornisa dahil hawak po siya ngkanyang ama nang siya ay nabaril sa isang rido.

Jessica Soho: Tatlong kilometro lang po naman ang layo mula rito sa ating kinaroroonan ngayon,nakilala ko si Nanay Nening, 71 years old. Ang tanging ikinabubuhay nilang mag-asawa ay angpagbebenta ng panggatong. Kada buwan, tatlong daang piso lang ang kanilang kita. Ayon sa kanya,kung mahirap sila noon, mahirap pa rin po sila hanggang ngayon. Kasama sina Nornisa at NanayNening sa mahigit isang daang milyong (100,000,000) Pilipino na nais po ninyong pamunuan.

Mike Enriquez: At para po sa pangwakas na pananalita, closing statements, ngayong gabi, eh pakisabina rin po sa mga nakikinig at nanonood sa Pilipinas at buong mundo. Bakit kayo ang dapat magingsusunod na kandidato – presidente ng Republika ng Pilipinas?

Jessica Soho: Bibigyan po naming kayo ng tig-isang minuto para riyan. Alphabetical ulit po ang ating

sequence o pagkakasunod-sunod.

VP Jejomar Binay: Batay po sa aking karanasan at tamang pamamahala at pagmamalasakit sa atingkapwa lalung-lalo na sa mahirap, ‘yan hong pagharap sa problema ng kahirapan ay dapat ho natingharapin sapagkat problema pa rin po ‘yan. Kaya po ba, una, tigilan na po natin ‘yang underspending.Sinasabi ko, pagka-underspending, underperformance. Hindi nagagamit yung dapat paggamitan. Pagkamaraming namamatay kasi hindi nabibigyan ng tamang gamot. Hindi makapagpapasok sa ospital.Underspending, nakakaapekto ho ‘yon. Nadedelay ang performance. Iyong mga infrastructurerequirements ho natin na makakatulong ho ‘yan dahil sa magpapadami ng kabuhayan, eh hindi honagagawa. Kaya ho kailangan – kailangan po tayo na magdagdag at gastusin ang pera para mabago hoang ating buhay.

Sen. Miriam Defensor – Santiago: We are here looking for a real leader of the Philippines who willimplement all the valuable suggestions that were made here this evening but this is not a personalitycontest. This is not a show for entertainment. This is a show to educate the Filipino voter on what hisown responsibilities are in addition to those that are being assumed by the presidential candidates.

Number one, there should be academic excellence. Dapat naging head of the class or at least naginghonor student dahil kung hindi man lang marunong ‘yon, ano ngayon ang ibibigay niyang dulong saatin?

Pangalawa, may professional excellence. Kung naging propesyonal ‘yon, dapat binigyan siya ng mga

award ng mga kapwa professional niya dahil sa hanga sila sa kanya.

But third and most important, be sure to have moral excellence. Dapat ang binoboto natin walangbahid sa kanyang record o kung may inimbento man, masyadong ‘di kapanipaniwala.

So, good luck to you and good luck to all of us. I hope this country will deserve to be what God meant itto be, a happy, prosperous nation.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Nganong nia man ko ngari? Why am I here? I am here because I love mycountry and I love the people of the Philippines. I am a native of the Philippines. There is so muchcorruption. There is so much crime. And so much drugs ††ooding the country. And it seems that nobodyis minding this through. Matagal na that we have been raising that problem and I see – every timebefore a forum, we talk about this, about that, eh kung bigyan ninyo ako ng pagkakataon, only if Godwills it also, I will stop it, I said. This is an imposed restriction on me. Hindi ako nagpapabilib sa inyo. Iwill get rid of drugs, suppress crime, stop corruption in government in a matter of three to six monthsbecause I believe that without peace, without – <inaudible> corruption, we cannot really survive anddevelop as a nation.

Sen. Grace Poe: Maraming salamat sa inyong pakikinig. Nararapat lamang na pinag-usapan natin anglahat na ito. Ito po’y hindi tungkol sa mga kandidato kundi tungkol sa inyo. Hindi po kung anong gustonamin kung hindi, kung ano ang mahalaga sa inyo. Dahil ito ay tungkol sa Mindanao, nais kong balikanang mga nais nating gawin dito sa Mindanao. Unang-una, kailangan talaga na magkaroon ng sapat nakuryente na mura ang halaga para sa ating mga kababayan. ‘Yan ay ating gagawin. Irerehabilitate natinang lahat. Babantayan natin ang mga transmission grids para ito naman ay sapat ang kuryentengmaibibigay.

Pangalawa, trabaho para sa inyo. Thirty percent (30%) po ng budget ng national government ilalagaynatin dito.

Pangatlo, kailangan din na magkaroon ng pakikipaglaban sa kurapsyon. ‘Pag ako po ay naging pangulo,unang executive order magkakaroon ng Freedom of Information na matagal na nating ginugusto. SaPilipinas – sa buong Pilipinas o sa Mindanao man, ang importante ay isang leader namapagkakatiwalaan. Oo nga, bago na ako pero hindi na rin bago ang ating mga problema at maraminang matagal diyan pero paulit-ulit pa rin ang kanilang mga lumang solusyon.

Mar Roxas: Bakit ko gusto maging pangulo? Maraming mga pagkakataon sa buhay ko alam ko wala samamamayang Pilipino. May trabaho ako. May naipon ako. Alam kong maayos ang kinabukasan ng anakko dahil nakapag-aral siya. ‘Pag may nagkasakit sa pamilya namin, kampante ako na may gagamot sakanila. Hindi ko pinuproblema ang kakainin ko sa bukas. Bakit ko gusto maging pangulo? Dahil gusto komaging ganito din ang buhay niyo – malaya sa gutom, malaya sa takot, at malayang mangarap. Atmahihiya akong gawin – at mahihiya ako harapin ang aking magulang, aking anak, kayo mismo, kunghindi ko gagawin ang lahat para mangyari ito. Maraming salamat.
