Objective: To foster love of reading and studying God’s Word.

I. Kids should know the ff:a. The Bible Alphabet Song (for memory

verse recitation)b. 4 Spiritual Lawsc. Romans Roadd. Bible stories: John 1-10

i. Official translation to be used: CEV

II. Mechanics:a. 3 rounds: Easy (5 points; 10 questions – Multiple Choice), Average (2 points; 10

questions – Fill in the Blanks), and Difficult (10 points/verse; 3 verses/team; 3 representatives/team)

b. Material to be reviewed will be given to the kids first week of February.c. Participants:

Juniors (Saturday and Sunday group). 3 teams will be formed. ZJ will form the groupings by drawing lots (in the presence of 2 other teachers). Each team will consist of representatives from both Saturday and Sunday group. Team members will be announced February 6 and 7, 2010 (Saturday / Sunday). Each team will have a coach: Judges will consist of:

d. Judges will be given the list of questions with the answers in it.e. Judging Mechanics:

i. Word accuracy (word / term used)ii. Correct spelling (wrong spelling wrong);

iii. Memory Verse recitation (Scripture address, passage – word for word)III. Prizes:

February 20, 2010The kids wrote down on index cards the 30 memory verses they have to learn by March 21's Bible Quiz Challenge. The purpose of this activity is so that (1) learning the verse will be reinforced to them by writing, and (2) they can bring it home with them and use it as instructional playing card.

February 21, 2010One month before our Bible Quiz Challenge, the Juniors reviewed what they have read and memorized so far for the past 2 weeks. They had a blast playing Bible Bingo and Bible Memory Game. 3 teams battled it out (Soaring Eagles, Survivors and Maecel group), but in the end, only one team can win - the Maecel Hello Kitties. Ü
