1.Producing CV Axle forFront-Wheel Drive VehiclesProducing CV axle for front-wheel drive vehicles Project nameNew product quality problems cost reduction others Type of projectAnnual Project periodAuto Parts The main use of technology
Nowadays, one of the most common power transmission systems in vehicles is the use of CV joint. This transmission system has been replaced with propeller shaft system (or car transmission system) in old vehicles which reduces the drive parts of power transmission system and energy losses and depreciation. To use the power transmission of CV joint, it needs to use specific equipment, which is known as CV axle in front-wheel drive vehicles which are used to install suspension equipment and position them. According to the high accuracy of an Axle, its production, as a main product in the automobile manufacturing, was monopolized by developed countries. The aim of defining this project is to transfer the technology and equipment needed for producing Axles for front-wheel drive vehicles.
Structure and principles of operation
When an axle is given the responsibility of accomplishing some additional works such as steering mechanism, power transmission, reducing the engine rpm, adjusting the effect of the road, special easy moves, and ease of movements, its design and construction are considerably complex. On the other hand, based on the vehicle and place restrictions, it has some varieties. Thus, establishing a production line to produce different types of axles for front-wheel drive vehicles is emphasized.
Technological problems
Producing 2000-3000 axlesperday Diversity of productions based on the customers’ need Producing at least 10 different types of axlesfor various domestic products such as
Peugeot, Mazda,… The output product must comply with Euro standard to receive the international
certificated for export. The output product must have the capability of competing with imported products.
project scope
A 7000-meterindoor spacehas been considered to establish the line of production. The company is interested in joint ventures.

Manufacturing technology transfer - Drilling Mud Pump Project Name
New Product/Technology Chronic problems Cost Reduction Patent Breaking Other Project Type
12 months Project Term Mud pumps are used to flash drilling liquid or mud under high pressure into a borehole during the drilling process. The purpose of pumping the mud or liquid is to reduce friction which can make the drill rig break down. Another reason is to stabilize the walls of the borehole to prevent soil from caving in. Main Function
Mud pumps are applicable in drilling which requires high pump pressure, such as drilling for oil. They work by lowering the volume of the working fluid which is discharged to produce sufficient pressure that produces the flow. It consists of three pistons. The middle piston exerts greater pressure to the crankshaft as compared to the other two external pistons. However, application of excessive pressure due to high piston load results in cracking or failure of the crankshaft.

15.Improvement of Talc Quality
Time Duration: 6 to 12 month Essential Application: Silver masterbaches are used in plastic production process for beautification. Silver products are bestsellers in Iran market.
Framework & Operational principles: In silver plastic products, propylene (Granul) mixed with silver masterbatch which add to the basic material in 1.5 percent. Then this integrative material enter injection machine and after plastic injection process, final product will be formed as prefaced die. Note that product refrigerate process will start during injection & when product gets out of injection machine, it is ready. Problems: when we use silver masterbatch, products quality get low in comparison with other products. Some kinds of stain appear on the surface of the product. But when we use masterbaches in other colors, we don’t face this kind of problems, ther is no stain and product’s color is homogeneous. Another point is that we have faced this problem when we supply silver masterbatches from other suppliers. A proposed solution is that the final product get colored after production, but this solution is not economical. It seems that the reason is that some kinds of additive mineral materials in silver masterbatches are heavy and remain during injection, so they get a stain on the product. Project Scope: Add a material to masterbatch before entering injection machine in order to lubricate the material in the masterbatch Limitative Parameters: proposed solution should be economical and should not exit routine process in production line. We don’t want to change this process.

13. The elimination of environmental hazardous pollutants of solid wastes derived from tannery effluent's treatments
Project Name The elimination of environmental hazardous pollutants of solid wastes derived from tannery effluent’s treatments Project Type New Product/Technology Chronic Problems Cost Reduction Patent Breaking Others Project Term - Main Function To treat and recover the solid wastes (containing chrome) derived from leather manufacturing factories and main effluent
refinery of Charmshahr industrial city on account of converting it into a profitable material Structure and Action Principle Effluents from different stages of leather manufacturing processes
(soaking and Unhairing stage, Tanning stage, re-tanning stage finishing operations and other ordinary applications of water) are loaded into a general sedimentation pit or tank located inside the leather manufacturing factory. Over 90% of Tanning operations in Iran’s leather manufacturing factories are carried out with chromium slats. According to the UNIDO statements and experimental studies, about 40% of chromium oxide present in basic chromium sulfate used in main tanning process is loaded into effluent system after draining and piling the wet blues (tanned substrates as the products of tanning stage). Thus, the loaded effluent contains a noticeable amount of Cr(III). On the other hand, there are sulfides, chlorides, sulfates, lime, fatliquors, enzymes, acids, alkaline agents, dyes, pigments, resins and other auxiliaries present in final effluent. The effluent refinery procedures are carried out in two separate phases. The first phase is carried out inside the factory and its objective is to separate the solid waste by filtration and sedimentation processes. After that, the final effluent is directed to the main effluent refinery facility. Through different chemical and physical operations carried out at the second phase of treatment in the mentioned main facility, the effluent is entirely treated and the result output is running into the environment. The solid waste derived from both phases of treatments (carried out in the factories and main refinery facility) needs to be treated so that in addition to separation of pollutant ingredients specially chromium compounds, it can be used again whether in leather manufacturing process or other industries. According to the measurements obtained from solid waste transportation agency, about 7000 tons of wet solid waste containing the solid content of 25% is removed from all of the effluent pits of factories located in Charmshahr industrial city zone. It is estimated that at least, about the half of these statistics are applied to the amount of solid wastes derived

from main effluent refinery facility. Description of Technical Problem Solid waste derived from effluent treatment mechanisms were used to
be buried underground. Because of significant increase of leather production and causing chronic environmental issues, this disposal’s method of solid waste is no longer serviceable. This sludge has the following characteristics:
1- Over 90% of the tanning processes in Iran are carried out with chromium salts. Thus, this sludge contains a high concentration of Cr(III).
2- The effluents from different processes of leather manufacturing are directed and loaded into a general sedimentation pit or tank.
3- The solid waste contains a negligible amount of Cr(VI). 4- It is estimated that about 10000 tons of wet solid waste
containing the solid content of 25% is obtained each month from both sedimentation pit of leather manufacturing factories and main effluent refinery facility of Charmshahr industrial city.
The results of wastewater analysis from the sedimentation pit of leather manufacturing factories are enclosed with this paper. The burring process of solid waste containing chrome and other pollutants in the environment will cause contamination of rivers and aquifers. Thus, recovery of solid waste from leather manufacturing effluents has become the first priority of leather industry at this moment.
