Identify and use proper keyboarding posture, finger-postioning, and touch-typing fundamentalsalso derive a grade from words per minute and accuracy.
Identify file paths to specific files in Windows Explorer
Copy and move files from folder to another, save files to various folders, open a file from one folder and save it to another

Students will practice the home row keys with Typing Instructor.
Students will follow examples of teacher installing software to their computers by locating My Computer/Windows Explorer, the C drive, folders, files, and subfolders.
Students will learn to install software correctly and how to bypass installing harmful spyware.
Students will practice the home row keys lessons with Typing Instructor and test on them daily.
Students will read JansCompLit101/lessons/ 1.Computer Types & 2. Applications
Students will complete the short answer questions and teacher-directed questions guiding their reading in small groups and/or individually
Students will take a quiz until they achieve mastery over the selected material
