What is the volume?

To find the volume of a cylinder, I multiply the area of the base by the height. The base of a cylinder is a circle. I multiplied 3.14 by the radius squared to get the area. I multiplied the area of the base by the height to get the volume.

A cylindrical swimming pool has a radius of 3 feet and a height of 4 feet. How many cubic feet can the swimming pool contain?

The volume of the cylinder is 113.04 cubic feet.
