1.Brief Introduction:The ear tag is specifically designed with wireless temperature sensor

for cattle, cow, sheep or pig etc. to detect the body temperature periodically.

The temperature information along with its ID can be sent to the gateway by wireless for the management to well know the health status of the livestock in the office. The tag is low power consumption and the battery life can more than 3 years.

Features and application :• FCC and CE complied• Perfect integrity of Active RFID technology and sensor technology• Long transmission distance• High temperature accuracy: ±0.2ºC• High protection level: IP66.• Long battery life: 3 years

The USB interface format:- BaudRate = 9600 baud- Word Length = 8 Bits- One Stop Bit- No parity

The output data format in ASCII from USB port of reader: ID+ID number(10 characters)+ : + temperature + F(C) + ˗

The temperature range is from -10C to 100C(14F-212F),the integer is 3 digit, and the decimal is one digit. If the temperature is lower than 14F, the output is Lo. If the temperature is higher than 212 F, the output is Hi.

For example:ID3000000000:081.4F; ID3000000001:HiF;Where 3000000000 is ID number. 081. 4F is temperature value.

5) Tag UsageA.Boot up: Press the top button, you will see the built-in red LED light flashes quickly for 5 times, then it has booted successfully.

B. During the first 5 seconds after LED light stops flashing, you can set up transmitting time interval. When you press the button successfully each time, the red LED light will blink once; after the first 5 seconds, the green LED light blinks in a slow speed, and the number of times it blinks is what you have set the transmitting time interval. That is how you set the transmitting time interval.

Press numbers of button Transmitting time interval

0 Testing mode: when first power on, it transmits signal every 10 seconds for 30 times. After that the transmitting time interval turns to 15 minutes1 15 Minutes

2 10 Minutes3 Return to 20 Minutes, recycled
