Dear Western Star Dancer:The first trimester meeting of WSD is scheduled for Wednesday April 9th at 7: 15PM. This meeting will focus on the elimination of the biweekly Club night danceschedule.

At the March Board of Directors meeting it was decided that there was not enoughinterest by club members to continue this tradition. Board members are in favorof eliminating the regularly scheduled club nights and feel that there might bebetter response to planed dance eventson a six to eight week schedule.This trimester meeting will be your only opportunity to express your concernsregarding the BOD's decision to move in this direction. At our last rimestermeetingwe agreed hat wewouldabandon lub nightson Wednesday ue opoor attendanceand in turn sublet that timeperiod at EVRC to our brothersand sistersofMidnightSquares. lt has been a boon o themand attendance as beengood. Additionally eagreed hat we would inishadvertisingor a newclassand conduct hatclasson Mondaynightsaswe havedone for some time in the past. lf thatclass did not come together, hen we would goback to having club nights on Monday.Unfortunately after several attempts we wereunable to sustain a sufficientnumber of classmembers to go forward with a new class. RonMaskerhas beencallingon Mondaynightssincethen o helppeople efresh or convention nd toprovidesome stabilityuntil we could arrangeascheduleof callers or the months o come. Wehope to be able to start another class inSeptember.Thisbringsme to the essenceof my
