informal style for a professional audi-ence, not in peer-review journal for-mat and not for a lay audience. Allsubmissions will be reviewed by theeditorial staff, Editor in Chief, ChiefMedical Editor and subspecialty Sec-tion Editor prior to publication.

Length of text varies according tosubject, but is usually 500 to 2,000words.

Please submit articles via e-mail oron floppy disk. Any size DOS or Mac-intosh disk is acceptable, and files fromany type of word processor will beaccepted (Word for Windows is pre-ferred).

All articles must include the fol-lowing information in addition tothe main text:

Detailed captions for all illustrations

Financial or consulting relationshipsbetween authors and drug or equip-ment manufacturers mentioned in anarticle must be disclosed.

ILLUSTRATIONSAuthors should provide original art-

work (photos, slides, printouts fromdiagnostic instruments) whenever pos-sible. Upon request, original artworkwill be returned to the author after thearticle is published. The publisherassumes no liability for loss or damage.
