Note: In presenting the material for these two Championship Meets I will start with the Men’s Championship Meet since it was the first of the two meets held in April of 1968. This was true until 1973 when the meets were held as a combined event.

Men’s 41st National YMCA Swimming & Diving Championship Meet April 18-20, 1968

There were 34 YMCA teams with over 250 participants from 12 states that took part in this the 41st National YMCA Championship Meet. States with the highest representation were New Jersey (8), Pennsylvania (7) and Ohio (7). Other states were Indiana (3) Illinois (2) Maryland (2) and with (1) each were Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, New York, Virginia and West Virginia.
