THE CLASS PROPHECY
Ronald Earl Barnes married the former Audrey Beitel of Holly, Colorado. He is a good husband and a very proud father of three red headed, freckled faced girls. Ronald is in partnership with his father-in-law, in the Barnes-Beitel Peanut Brittle Business in Britton, South Dakota.
Arthur James McFarlane, who we thought would be our bachelor, fooled us. It seems he met a pretty little co-ed while attending college, and they are very happily married now. They are the proud parents of five children.
Arthur has been awarded his Master's degree in Psychiatry, and has been hired in Washington, D. c., to see what makes politicians tick.
The former Shirley Owen, is now Mrs. G. W. Anderson. She is still employed in the Stop & Shop #4 grocery store in Towner. Shirley is kept pretty busy working in the store and wiping the running noses of her two small girls! She finally persuaded Gary to stay in Towner and try to make a living by furnishing music for the Towner Dance Hall with his orchestra.
Richard Earl Scott finally found his one and only, the former Joyce Marble. They are living in Hollywood, California, where he is one of the most famous sport's casters in the United States. Joyce and their seven little darlings accompany Richard to the world-series where he announces the series games.
Hollywood motion picture sign contracts with Richard, guess he is not interested good husband and father.
producers are still trying but he is still saying, no.

The former Loretta Sturn is now known as Mrs. J. J. Prosser having captured Bud from the clutches of all other females. Bud is at this time in St. Joseph Hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, recovering from food poisoning, received from his first meal at home with his bride. Loretta is nolding down their large ranch and farm, one mile west of Towner, while Bud is ill.

·.·ie are v~ry grateful to our superintendent, l'•r. Pierce, for starting our school library. It was built in February of 1954 by Mr. Pierce and Mr. Lowell Story.
1'/e started our library by repairing the few books we had. Then we sent notices out to the citizens of our coD~~n 4 ty asking for donations of books. We appreciate the response given to this request. We have bought quite a number of books and two sets of encyclopedias.
Now we have a wonderful source of reading for our leisure time and for reference work. We now have 733 books in our library.
The present Floyd Barnes, char«e.
librarians are Karen Reinert, Loretta Sturn, and Rebecca Brodie, with Mrs. Silliman in
