Martha Bosch (Sara Brown) Martha has been

involved with most of Tapestry's shows in one capacity or another. She was an actor in Tapestry's first show, And God Said, as well as Red Letter Days, The Enchanted Cottage and five of the previous Christmas from Home productions. She was a puppeteer for Hadassah - the Servant Queen, a house manager for many Tapestry shows, and she costumed 1942 Christmas from Home last year. Favorite roles with other theatres include roles in Shakespeare Sampler and The Crucible. In real life, she spends her time in the lab as a Research Associate at OHSU. Martha dedicates this show to her father-in-law Sam Bosch, who served in the U.S. Army during the 1950s in Taiwan, and to her father Wim Dykshoorn, who lived in occupied Holland during WWII and is a veteran of the Royal Dutch Air Force.

Dale Boss (Vocal Director) Dale has been singing and directing singers since

he was 10 years old. He first performed with Tapestry in Godspell, and has been a singer or director in several other Tapestry productions since then. He received a Drammy Award in 2002 for Best Vocal Direction for his work on 1943 Christmas from Home. Dale is performing his 14th season with Portland Gay Men's Chorus and their subgroup Cascade.

Jane Staugus Bray (Costume Design) Jane has been designing costumes since her high

school days in Santa Monica, California. After working as a casting director for years in Los Angeles, she found herself back in front of the sewing machine designing costumes for Cleveland High School for the past 6 years, since she had two daughters in attendance there. She designed for Honk!, Pajama Game, Damn Yankees, and Guys and Dolls, to name a few. Jane also created the 1860s period costumes for the Portland Ballet's La Boutique

Fantasque, and has helped transform her husband, actor Thom Bray, into Charles Dickens for his annual one man Christmas Carol. She would like to thank Tapestry Theatre for the opportunity to recreate this exciting and nostalgic costume period. Jane dedicates this production to her mother, Catherine Cordoba, both an expert seamstress and one of the original “Rosie the Riveters” who worked in a war factory that secretly produced materials for the Manhattan Project.

G. Douglas Bundy (Clarinet and Tenor Saxophone)

Doug is a native Portlander who is extremely excited about being a part of the Christmas from Home series. He has been the Instrumental Music Director at Aloha High School since 1997, and last year Doug received the Oregon Symphony’s Patty Vemer Music Educator of the Year Award. He is also co-founder of two Portland musical ensembles, Groove Revelation and the 12th Avenue Hotclub. Doug would like to dedicate his performance to his many relatives who have served our country over the years. Most recently, this includes: Father Douglas Bundy, who served in the National Guard; Grandfather Bob Bundy, who served in the South Pacific in WWII; Great Uncle Bill Pacey, who served in Europe in WWII; and Uncle Clifton McKinley, who served in Vietnam.

Sanna Bunnell (Kate McCracken)Sanna's performing

days began as a senior in high school in one of the original all-girl bands, which set off for New York City upon an invitation from the prestigious William Morris booking agency. The band toured the East Coast and into Canada, appearing in concert with such notables as The Beach Boys, The Loving Spoonful and The Young Rascals. They recorded a single, had appearances on television and were written up in Look, Glamour, Seventeen and Variety. Since moving to Portland, Sanna has concentrated her musical talents on contemporary Christian music as a singer/songwriter, recording artist, concert performer and worship leader. Sanna has appeared in many of Tapestry's productions, including the entire Christmas From Home series. Sanna dedicates her performance with gratitude to all service men and women, past and present.

Susan Chapman (Margaret Ingram) Susan has worked in theatre off and on for 35 years as

an actor, director, costumer and set designer. Her greatest acting challenge was her performance as Carrie Watts in Horton Foote's The Trip to Bountiful. Most recently she has been seen in the first 5 productions of Christmas from Home. She is delighted to be back for the 2nd production of 1943 Christmas from Home. She dedicates her work to 3 people. Her grandmother Lucy Freeman Youngberg, was a decorated nurse on the front lines in France during World War I. “She is my hero and I believe her prayers for me have made my life a study in hope.” Her father, Donald Addington, was a Sergeant in the Army during World War II and a card-carrying member of “The Greatest Generation.” The third is a new friend of that same great generation, Graydon Stinton, who served as a lineman in Italy during WWII. All three did what was asked by their country with courage and grace.

Jeff Chapman (Sound) Jeff has been involved in professional music and

sound design for over 20 years, including shows with Tapestry such as Gifts for the King, Look at Us Now, The Phantom Tollbooth, Hadassah and the entire Christmas from Home series. When not doing sound, Jeff is seeking full time employment. Jeff dedicates this performance to his father, Forrest Chapman who fought in The Battle of the Bulge, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe Colmar.

Justin Durrie (Bass)Justin Durrie has been earning his reputation as an in-

demand bassist in Portland, Oregon's acclaimed jazz, Latin and creative music scenes. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest from the East Coast (DC/NYC), he has worked as a sideman with many of the region's best musicians, notably the Alan Jones Sextet, Bob Mover Quartet, Randy Porter Trio, Pepe and the Bottle Blondes, Lo Nuestro and Caliente.

Mark Allen Eaton (Roland Scott)Mark is excited to return for his third year as Roland

Scott with Tapestry. He works as an adjunct professor (George Fox University and Warner Pacific College), playwright, and professional actor in the greater Portland area. Mark holds an MFA in Script and Screenwriting from Regent University, and his full-length play, Pilate, was recently published in “Faith on Stage” with CITA.org. He lives with his lovely wife, Holly, in Oregon City. “Thank you to Ted and Louie Hanberg for your service to our nation.”
