My relationship to Charlotte Fussel is she's my grandma.

My grandma said her favorite artists to listen to were Elvis and The Platters.

I asked my grandma What did your parents think about records and record players? She said, “They enjoyed them. It was nice to listen to. It brighten things up in the house.”

Radio I asked my grandma What do you remember

about your experience with radio? She said “I remember listing to Soap Operas.”

I asked my grandma When were they on, and why did you like them? I listened to them in the evening, they were very entertaining story’s.

Television/Cable A television back then cost about one hundred dollars

I asked my grandma What was it like when TV became available? She said “It was fascinating. We were the first people on the street with it.”

Movies I asked my grandma What were your first movie going

experiences like, and how were they different from today? She said, “I loved them; it was more wholesome back then, because movies know are obscene and crude.”

I asked my grandma What were some of your favorite films growing up and why? She said, “I really liked the movie The Thing from another world. I enjoyed it, because I really liked Horror.”
