1920s Photo Analysis • Task : Write a narrative and or autobiographical description of a picture from the Roaring 20s. – Download the powerpoint from Mrs. Dusto’s Wiki. – Choose a picture that captures your interest. – Make inferences about the people and situation in the picture based on your background knowledge. – Write a narrative or autobiographical piece based on the picture (500-1000 words) using proper MLA format. • You can write it in first person, as if you are the person in the photo, or you can write it in third person, as if you are an omniscient narrator telling the person’s story. • You will need to create a back story about the people (or person) in the picture before you start writing. Use the information you have learned in class (as well as in your American history class). Your narrative should be mainly about the picture you have chosen to write about: What is happening in the photo? Why is your character there? How does he or she feel about this situation?
