Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) is a joint initiative by Stifterverband, CHE Centre for Higher Education and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK). It is sponsored by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

BarcampA barcamp is a series of sponteaneous workshops that are offered by the conference participants. Session topics are pitched on stage in the rotunda and then the workshops are jointly agreed upon. After the groups have come together, they are assigned to areas in the Barcamp Spaces on the ground fl oor or the second fl oor. The Bar-camp sessions will take place parallel to the Workshops.

Beer-to-PeerAt our informal evening event, we invite you to get together with your colleagues and enjoy conversations, music and drinks at the end of the fi rst conference day. Cheers, Peers!

KeynoteTwo keynotes per day will be held in the rotunda. During the keynote speeches, there will be no other events held in the venue.

Live DemoLive demonstrations will be shown in our Demo Space on the 4th fl oor. During the live demo slots, you can walk in/walk out at any time.

Poster SessionUniversities and other institutions present their project experiences in the DigiLounge. The posters can be viewed during both conference days. A personal discussion with the submitters is possible during the scheduled poster sessions.

PresentationThe presentations will take place in various rooms (A, B, C, D, E) of the venue. Due to the tight time schedule, we recommend that you arrive at the respective room in a well-in time.

WorkshopThe workshops take place in several rooms of the venue (A, B, C, D, E). As space and number of participants are limited, we recommend that you register for the workshop of your choice via the Event App. The Workshops will take place parallel to the Barcamps.
