    Tag flag is used to identify the type of packets. Three types of TAG flags

    are available: tag aware, access, and hybrid.

    Tag Aware: When the port is set to be tag aware, the port transmits

    the packets with the Tag flag transparently and discards those

    without the Tag flag

    Access: When the port is set to be access, the port attaches a Tag

    flag to the packets without Tag flag according to its VLAN ID and

    discards those with the Tag flag.

    Hybrid: When the port is set to be hybrid, the port can processpackets regardless of the Tag flag and attach a Tag flag to the

    packets without the Tag flag according to its VLAN ID.

    Parameters for the Ethernet interface

    VLAN ID:

    VLAN ID of the port (MAC or VCTRUNK).

    Working mode:

    It can be set to auto-negotiation, 10 Mbit/s half/full-duplex,100 Mbit/s half/full-duplex or 1 Gbit/s full-duplex. The

    Ethernet interfaces of the interconnected equipment shouldwork under the same fixed working mode; otherwise, thepacket may be lost and the rate may decrease, or theservice may be completely interrupted upon large volume oftraffic.

    Port type:

    There are two types: P and PE. Provider edge (PE) is themarginal port of the service provider. Provider (P) is thecore network port of the service provider. Port type isneeded when configuring EVPL and EVPLAN services.

    LCAS enable:

    Maximum packet length:

    Whether to enable LCAS.

    Set this item for the external port, 1522 bytes by default.

    Mapping protocol:

    It is preferable to select the default- GFP mapping protocol.
