Material Storage & Handling

Lay material flat, do not store against a wall or stack unevenly.

Leave protective masking on until installation is complete.

Protect from exposure to direct sunlight. Product is not intended for outdoor use.

Use care when handling the product with a forklift. Forks can easily damage the

material.

If banding is used, use protective corners to prevent indents from the bands.

Extreme heat warning: extreme elevation of surface temperature, which exceeds

that of normal exposure, can possibly cause the product to melt, sag, warp,

discolor, and increase expansion/contraction.

Excessive construction debris: it is important during construction that the product

surfaces stay clear from excessive build-up of dirt, sand, and dust from tile,

concrete, or other masonry products.

Understanding Your Factory Provided Drawings

1. O.A. – Overall dimension from the back wall to the front face of the door. For

example, when O.A. is 61” as shown in the drawing above, the side panel is 59

3/8” long.

2. H.R. – Headrail is supplied in 12” increments from 48” to 84” long. All of the

headrail supplied will be oversized and the installer must field trim to the proper

size.

3. Stall Widths

a. When shown in an application with one wall and one panel, the 36”

dimension is from the face of the side wall to the center line of the 1” thick

panel, thus giving you 35-1/2” clearance inside the stall.

i. The 34-3/4” dimension shown is from the face of the side wall to the

center of the 1-1/2” square post.

b. When shown in an application between two panels, the 36” dimension is

from the center line of one panel to the center line of the second panel,

thus giving you 35” clearance inside the stall.

i. The 36” dimension shown is from the center line of the 1-1/2”

square post to the center line of the next 1-1/2” square post.

Install the Feet

Locate and mark the center line from the back wall using factory provided

drawings and a chalk line parallel to the back wall.

Locate and mark the center line from the side wall to the first foot (HPS-EP)

where it intersects the chalk line, per factory provided drawings.

Locate and mark the center line from the first foot to the next foot, per factory

provided drawings. Repeat for each foot.

Center each foot at the intersection of the center lines measured above.

Mark the foot hole locations.

Pre-drill holes using a 5/16” masonry drill bit; insert plastic anchors (HFPA).

Secure feet to the floor using 1-1/2” Torx screws (HF15THS)

Continue to follow factory provided drawing to install the remaining feet.

Install the Posts

IMPORTANT! Posts are provided with pre-drilled holes for hardware and fastener

attachment. Hole patterns and locations differ for inswing (HPOSTIN-EP) and outswing

posts (HPOSTOUT-EP).

For inswing posts (HPOSTIN-EP) only, the post orientation is also dependent upon the

desired door swing direction.

Be sure to use the correct post, in the correct orientation, for the desired door swing.

Inswing Post (HPOSTIN-EP): See the diagram below and review the following

hole location descriptions:

o Side “A” Interior: Two holes located 1/2” from top and bottom; should

always face the stall interior.

NOTE: Each foot is 1-1/2” x

1-1/2” at the base of the foot

Page 7: 1/8 Eclipse Partitions™ Installation Instructions partition system performance and void the product warranty. Parts List

Installation: Feet & Posts

To determine proper post orientation:

o Position side “A” Interior on the stall interior

o Looking at side “C” Exterior, the hinge

attachment holes should be as follows:

Left of center when the door hinges

from the right side of the stall and

opens on the left (when standing

outside the stall)

Right of center when the door hinges

from the left side of the stall and opens

on the right (when standing outside the

stall)

If holes are not in the proper location as described

above, rotate the post 180 degrees vertically such

that the bottom becomes the top and the top

becomes the bottom without rotating the post in the

horizontal plane.

Slide the post over the foot and secure using a 3/4”

Torx screw (HF75THS) in the hole located 1/2” from

the bottom of the post on side “A” Interior

ADA Outswing Post (HHPOSTOUT-EP): See the

diagram (right) and review the following hole

location descriptions:
