PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL GRANTS FOR CE SESSIONS

2013 NPPA Conference, August 19-22

Continuing education credit is an important component of the Annual NPPA Conferences, offering the Pharmacy Attendees much needed ACPE-accredited CE for license renewal, certification maintenance, and professional advancement. In addition, the NPPA Conference may provide the only CE specifically focused on Pharmacy Purchasing & the Pharmacy Buyer.

NPPA and their CE provider partner ProCE, are working together in providing continuing education credit for many of our educational sessions. If you are interested in providing an Educational Grant to support a CE session, see more details here below, and please contact Richard Lewis at ProCE if you are interested (see contact info here at end).

Grant Recognition: All Educational Grants received will be acknowledged in the official Program Agenda (on the website & in

print); on the NPPA website’s Exhibitor & Sponsor List page; in lecture room slides before the opening sessions begin; and in the Sponsorship listings in the official Program Binder that all Pharmacy Attendees receive at check-in onsite.

Needs Assessment & Topic Generation: The topics covered at the NPPA Conference are determined by a thorough assessment of the educational

needs of the attendees. This is accomplished by surveying the attendees of the previous year’s conference and through input from the NPPA Advisory Board. Thus, the selected topics cover many of the educational needs of Pharmacy Buyers across the country and provide a knowledge base that literally no other source or convention in pharmacy is currently providing.

Exhibitor Policies & Information Sign & Return With Order Forms

DEPOSITS: Fifty percent (50%) of the total cost of the Exhibit Package must be paid and received with this agreement as a non-refundable deposit. Checks and credit cards are acceptable forms of payment. No invoices will be issued for the deposit amount. Sponsorships & Advertisement options must be paid in full at the time of order. DUE DATES: The balance of the total fees due will be invoiced and expected in full no later than August 5. When you are able to pay in full by June 28, you may apply the Discounts listed above to your initial Exhibitor package order. LATE FEES: Invoices not paid by August 5 will be subject to a 10% late fee. Exhibitors will not be allowed to set up until full payment is received. CANCELLATION/REFUNDS: Exhibit packages that are canceled prior to June 19, will receive a 50% refund on their remaining pay-ment due (after the Deposit portion, which is non-refundable). No refunds will be paid after June 19. No credit will be provided for any unused portions of exhibitor packages. Sponsorships & Advertisement options are non-refundable. Corner & End-Cap Upgrades are refundable at the discretion of the NPPA Conference Team. EXHIBIT BOOTH LOCATION: Space assigned will be determined by promptness of deposit and company preferences (you provide your top 3 location choices and make note of any competitors you don’t want to be placed next to). Then the final location will be assigned by the NPPA Conference Team. EXHIBIT DAYS HALL TIMES & PLACE Dates: Tuesday, August 20 & Wednesday August 21. Times: approximately 2:30pm - 5:30pm, for 3 hours both days (note: hours may instead start at 3pm). Place: Bally’s Las Vegas, North Tower, Grand Ballrooms, Casino Level Convention Floor. ORDERS FOR BOOTH SETUP & DESIGN/SHIPPING : Your Exhibit Services Show Kit Account, to place your Booth Setup, Design, & Shipping Orders, will come from GES Expo Services (NPPA’s Exhibit Services company); via email starting approximately 90 days out from show date (or as soon as possible after your initial Exhibitor Order has been received & processed). It will be emailed to the person listed on the contract as the Conference’s “Main & Alternate Contacts.” It will include information on drayage, electrical services, furniture rental, labor, shipping, etc., with a complete list of charges. EXHIBIT BOOTH SPACE & SET-UP GUIDELINES: Companies may not combine to share exhibit space or packages. All Exhibitors agree not to erect a structure that obstructs the line of sight to adjacent booths. All activities taking place in your exhibit space must be fully contained within the space provided and must not protrude into aisles or others exhibit spaces. EXHIBIT HALL PASSES FOR ONSITE BOOTH REPS: We will contact you at a later date to register your Onsite Booth Representatives. Exhibitor Badges will only be issued to employees or contracted representatives of your company, and Photo ID & business cards will be requested upon check-in. Unused Exhibit Hall Passes for Onsite Booth Reps that come with your Exhibitor Package have no monetary value and will not be refunded. PHOTO RELEASE: I hereby give permission for images of my company representatives, captured during the 2013 NPPA Conference through video, and photo, to be used solely for the purposes of NPPA’s promotional material and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.

LIABILITY INSURANCE: Exhibitor agrees to obtain and maintain general liability insurance in an amount of no less than $2 million per incident/occurrence and cover the operations of the exhibitor in their assigned space. Exhibitor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance naming NPPA/Summerdale Enterprises, Inc. as a certificate holder. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless NPPA/Summerdale Enterprises, Inc. from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action that may be made by anyone for injuries to persons or damage to property resulting from acts or omissions of exhibitor or which result from exhibitor’s operation of its exhibit, including the loading, assembly, and unloading of exhibitor’s property.
