the structural change leads to a conceptual change: in the new planned quarter some new and more urban

typologies appeared. the construction is still based on a semi public yard in the center of every complex.

however each complex is now mixed with many different elements: multi-story next to "single family" houses,

public next to private etc.

the new northern quarter embodies the town's edge as it meets the desert. thus it faces inwards

to the city with a typical elevation and ends by a cascaded construction down the water stream.
