LIBERTY IN THE 2017-18 BIG SOUTH STATS

GO GREENOn the heels of an outstanding freshman season, Keyen Green was voted a preseason fi rst team All-Big South selection.

Green paced the Lady Flames in points (12.3 ppg) and re-bounds (8.1 rpg) in 2016-17, earning Big South Freshman of the Year and VaSID State Rookie of the Year honors. She also became the fi rst eight-time Big South Freshman of the Week in conference history.

STELLAR SOPHOMORES

Keyen Green, Iva Ilic and Ola Makurat all made the Big South All-Freshman team a year ago, making Liberty the only NCAA Division I women's basketball team in the nation with a trio of all-freshman honorees in 2016-17.

Adding in the production of classmates Kierra Johnson-Gra-ham and Lela Sellers, the Lady Flames' fi ve sophomore re-turnees accounted for 58.9 percent of the team's scoring last season and are scoring 49.4 percent of the points in 2017-18.

MEMORABLE SUMMER

Junior Molly Reagan (left) and senior Sheana Vega (right) both graduated with bachelor's degrees in criminal justice in May.

The following month, they traveled to Kenya together on an Athletes in Action basketball tour.

MEMORABLE SUMMER, PART 2
