Enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride throughout Wareham Village. Two routes available. Both
depart from the Depot on Merchant’s Way where tickets will be available.
Center Park Route—$30 for a family of four
$10 per individual
Besse Park Route—$15 for a family of four
$5 per individual
Please be mindful of horses while driving
on Main Street.

Walk Wareham is a 2.2 mile walk through Wareham Village burning approximately 200 calories. The map features local history and can be completed today or any day. The walk & map is designed by Southcoast Hospitals Group.
Bus transportation between Center Park and Besse Park & stops along the way for those who want a ride between activities courtesy of the Wareham School Department.

Show your patriotic spirit on Independence Day by wearing the colors
red, white and blue and receive a free flag from the Wareham Village Association
sponsored by Olde Towne Builders.
Those wishing to attend in period dress can also enjoy a free lemonade from the
Wareham Village Association while strolling the newly configured Main
Street sidewalks.

Enjoy the village from the perspective of a Wareham River swan on a paddle boat
courtesy of the A.D. Makepeace Co. Boats depart from the depot on Merchant’s Way
where tickets will be available.
Swan & Duck Paddle Boats available for
$15 for 30 minutes.

Crowns and tiaras for your favorite swan prince or swan princess—look for the tent in the park for a variety of children’s craft projects. Bring a kite, bring a Frisbee, spend some time in the park watching the boat traffic in Wareham Harbor.

Come paint with us—no prior experience necessary—murals will be painted at Besse Park with patriotic and local scenes which will then be shipped to our troops serving overseas.

Bicycle helmets back by popular demand. The Dick Melloni Youth Foundation will be on hand to distribute bicycle helmets to the children who attend the day’s events. Supplies while they last, arrive early so you are not disappointed. Located at the rear of Pezzoli Square.

A variety of crafters and regional businesses will be located at the newly refurbished Pezzoli Square across from Piper’s. Piper’s will be open, look for their outdoor specials on the 4th; meanwhile Frankenstein’s will offer a free hot dog with any purchase of a combo—look for your coupon.

Step back in time and board a horse drawn carriage from the Depot on Merchant’s Way. Board one of two common travelers to enjoy the scenic riverfront and Main Street activities. Proceeds from horse drawn carriages to benefit ongoing efforts of the Wareham Village Association.

Vehicle registration begins at 9:00am Come join the festivities with us! Meet your friends and make new friends. The car show will be located at 377 Main St., and extend down Main St. The car show welcomes all antique vehicles, hot rods, customs, muscle cars and tuner cars. Fun for the whole family, one of many on the 4th of July.
