the best quality research evidence for clinical practice.

using the PICO approach, search for literature to help answer a clinical question, critically appraise one article identified in the search, and discuss how you might/might not incorporate the findings into your clinical practice.

key rehabilitation phases.

and progression for the “prehabilitation” phase. Session will focus on: impairments, sensorimotor

control, mental preparation, planning for situation after surgery: work, transport to clinic, etc.

4 2:30 PM-3:00 PM Principles of ACL rehabilitation - part 2: Goal setting, exercise prescription

and progression for the “acute phase rehabilitation”. Session will focus on: impairments, open

kinetic chain vs. closed kinetic chain exercises, beginning strength training, integrating mental/

motivational aspects in rehabilitation.

and progression for the “intermediate phase rehabilitation”. Session will focus on: progressing

to heavy strength training, starting neuromuscular training, building patient autonomy, integrating mental/motivational aspects in rehabilitation.

institutions and not by the employee to whom the mandate has been given.

Regulation: 1. Acceptance and observance of the following rules are conditions for the admission and attendance to the course. 2. The enrollment in the course is not refundable in any way, except in case of cancellation of the course or force

majeure, which will be examinated by the organization. The trainee properly enrolled who renounces the participation must give written communication, that must be received by the organizer of the course at least 30 days before the beginning of the course. It is possible to take advantage of a coupon as a refund, in case.

3. The organizer of the course reserves himself the right to vary the times, the location of the course (not changing the Province of the course venue), to cancel or move the course up to the day before the date of beginning. This could be done informing all the participants by telephone, fax or e-mail.

4. The course partecipation awards 16 Training Credits of the Italian ECM program. 5. The trainee is required to be utmost punctual and must keep a correct behaviour towards the instructors and the

other participants. A behaviour that disturbs the regular course of the lessons would cause the participant to be asked to leave the room without being entitled to any refund.

6. During lessons, participants must abstain from criticizing the teachers/teaching methods. Any observation or critique must be reported on the evaluation form which will be delivered at participants at the end of the lessons.

7. The participant who, because of his negligence or other direct or indirect causes, will cause damage to things or

people during the course, is obliged to pay civil and penal compensation. In this eventuality, NOVAVIA PROJECT

S.R.L. will be considered as an injured/wounded party.

8. Teaching material cannot be reproduced and any copy must be previously authorized by NOVAVIA PROJECT S.R.L.

and by the course instructor. Audio/video recordings (where possible) must be previously authorized by the

course organizers.

9. In order to achieve the Training Credits ECM the participant must:

a) Attend 100% of the course training hours b) Pass the final exams (questionnaires and/or written questions) with at least 75% of correct answers and any

potential requested practical exams by correctly performing the practical tecniques at the unquestionable judgement of the course instructor.

10. Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, medicine & physiotherapy students and professionals equivalent to PT’s can

register for this course.

11. Registration to the training course implies the acceptance and observation of all the rules that regulate the

course organizer-participant relationship for the entire duration of the course, moreover the commitment to pay

the registration fee according to the methods and by the due date previously set up.
